"Hello. The two of us were hoping to buy some nice new outfits." Mucor would say as his eyes move across the room. His mouth would open a small amount as he is seemingly overwhelemed by the clothing options around him. "My name is Mucor... and this is my very close friend Aryn" he would say quietly as he gestures towards Aryn while keeping his eyes looking around the room. "Do you uhh... have clothes that would make me look... Successful? I guess clothes that an important person would wear? or Clothes that would make people like you?" The elf druid (ex mud and mold covered minotaur) would ask nervously.. being very much out of his element
"I don't know what happened exactly but I saw Neltharion... he was huge. I saw him kill the king and destroy the city. It was like I was living through a memory. I didn't have any control over the body but watched everything unfold before me. I could feel the heat of Neltharion's breath. I think the tablet has lost its magical ability though." Gaelin says as he recounts the experience to Jinara and Valeera and looks back to the tablet.
Aryn smiles at Mucor then looks to the gnome. "We'd like fur-lined overcoats, winter boots and double-layer pants that form fit but are just a bit loose in the joints to allow for better range of movement. Preferably dark grey with green and blue trim for my friend to bring out his eyes and black with purple trim on mine. We also need these tomorrow. Do you think you can accomplish that or are you not as swift as we've heard?" she says confidently and holds up a small pouch of coins and jiggles it a bit to send the message that money is not a problem.
Aryn & Mucor- The gnome shop keep looks at Aryn then to Mucor then back to Aryn. He nods as each speaks and begins painting the picture of the clothes in his mind and says, "Uhh.." you see him calculating in his head a small grin creeping along his face as he eyes the pouch of coin. "That's a specialty custom order with a heck of a rush to boot. We can do it for... 180 gold pieces." he says with a nod and crooked smile.
Gaelin & Jinara- Valeera sighs and says, "You were out for nearly three hours. Are you sure you're alright?"
"Oh... I uhh, didn't know it was that long. Yes I am fine now. It was just weird to experience that. Jinara are you aware of any magic like that? Should we head back to the castle to rest or keep going? We've been here 7 or more hours now." (I think that is right) Gaelin says trying to reassure Valeera.

Mucor would shake his head a bit before muttering a quiet word in minotaur as he casts guidance on himself. "Maybe you could bring the price down a little? We would be willing to let everyone know where we purchased our fine clothing... We do meet a lot of very important people in our line of work." The elf would say as he tries to persuade the man to lower the price..
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aryn looks at the gnome and around the shop at the various clothes and fabrics. "I think we can make an arrangement for that price. Do you have anything we can wear between now and tomorrow free of charge? We'd like not to freeze and would return any clothing when we pickup our new clothes. Also, if you can have our clothes ready first thing tomorrow morning there might be some additional coin in it for you."
Aryn & Mucor- the gnome looks confused as Mucor and Aryn speak in tandem but Aryn's confidence and visual aid wins out. "Well, I think that can be arranged. We have an assortment of men's and ladies winter attire. Nothing quite as ornate as your order but still quite elegant enough for a day. Let me bring out some more options for you to look through and I'll then we'll get right to work on your order." he says with and smile and bow before jumping down to measure your boots and darts into the back room. About a minute later, Two females, an elf and a human, enter from the back carrying an assortment of winter jackets and trousers. Behind them the gnome carries in two pairs of boots for Aryn and then leaves and returns with two pairs for Mucor. "Now in regards to payment, that'll be half upfront and half upon receipt of the order." he says holding his hand out.
Gaelin & Jinara- (It has been almost 8 hours that you've been in the library. 7 reading and about 45 minutes for the couple investigations of books. As the excitement from the knowledge gained fades, your hunger increases.)
(@Jinara- you are aware that there are still spells and magic from ancient times that have been lost with time. You've read descriptions of spells that allow oneself to imprint a memory or even one's soul into an object. Other spells you've read of speak of an shield spells that were enhance to withstand great damage. Some of these spells are well documented and known to higher level spellcasters today while others have been lost.)
"You know Gaelin, there are many abjuration based spells that can accomplish similar tasks, but to completely guard oneself from damage is one of great magnitude. High level spells, beyond my capabilities at the moment, are the only thing that could do that. I've read of some spells that are still practiced, but given the timeline of the event you saw I would not be surprised if this was some magic that has been lost or forgotten in time." Jinara says realizing he hasn't eaten since breakfast.
"The memory impression is very intriguing. I'm going to want to research that more when we get to the next location."
Gaelin's stomach rumbles and he hunches over a bit. "Interesting. I'd also be interested to see if we could find anything more on such magic. They could prove quite useful in the future. Perhaps we should return to the castle for the night. Unless you want to go ahead and travel to another city and find a place to sleep there. Either works for me, but wherever we go let's get some food as soon as we arrive."
Aryn hands over 90 gold and says "Thank you." then leans in and whispers to Mucor, "Sometimes its better to pay up a bit to make connections." She'll look through the clothes and find anything that isn't too bulky and will pick out the warmest boots. "After this let's grab a bite to eat. Would you happen to have any recommendations sir?" she says turning back to the gnome.
"I say the castle. Then off to the next. We also need to find a way to Xirin. I'm greatly intrigued by that area of the draconic presence and think it would be a melting pot of lore and knowledge"
(Aryn- It's around 11 in the morning. You've been in the city for about an hour.)
Gaelin & Jinara- You take your leave of the library and easily find a spot for Gaelin to teleport the trio of researchers back to the castle. You immediately head for the dining hall and find plenty of food and drink awaiting you. The sun sits low in the sky by the time you finish your binge eating and you have a few hours to reflect before passing the night.
Aryn & Mucor- The gnome smiles and says, "The Black Boar tavern has one of the best cooks in the city. If you go there tell em Ornlan Spindlebaum sent ya." He bows and takes his leave to begin his work, "If ya need anything just holler for Ornlan." and disappears behind the wall. Aryn is able to find a soft but shapely fur coat that is made from dark tan leather and rabbit fur. Of the two pairs of winter boots you settle for a nice hide boot with fur stitched into the top.
"sounds good, thank you" Mucor would say with a smile before changing into the temporary winter clothes. "Lunch does sound good. I hope you let me at least buy your meal" Mucor would say as he places his arm on her shoulder whole stepping out of the shop and into the street.
Gaelin will devour his food on his first plate then slow himself down with each plate. Around the 4th or 5th plate he'll request someone to inform Torq and Iris of their arrival and turn to Jinara and Valeera. "What'd you two find?" and takes out his notes taking down anything interesting they found. "I want to get your thoughts on something Jinara. I'm thinking of scrying on the spot that I saw in the memory. I also know of a spell that can give me more information about Neltharion. I wanted to wait until i knew more but after seeing him I think the spell may give me better information."
"Not nearly as much as you. I have a similar spell and I can ask Davara directly for a few key questions. Yes/no style, but ask the right question get the right answer hopefully. We can do like we did previously and tandem scry with me casting it on you."
Aryn welcomes the friendly gesture and nods smiling, "Of course. Let's get some food then we'll find a place to stay. After that we can explore the city, find out some information on the Loramenor family and perhaps take a stroll up that way just to pass by not to enter."
