Belzaphira shakes the sleep from her eyes and quickly stands up, flinging a bit of fire towards one of the elves as soon as she can. Damn elves, interrupting my sleep!
Initiative: 9
(Casting fire bolt: 23 for 6 fire damage on her turn.)

Bear and Yawgou spring into action, dropping the male elf before he has an opportunity to release his bolt.
The female elf dives for Belzaphira and lashes out with her shortword before she is thrown backwards by the force of Belzaphira's Fire Bolt. Attack: 24 Damage: 5
Without warning, two crossbow bolts whip out of the shadows, one for Bear and one for Yawgou.
Bear Attack: 22 Damage: 8 (On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 hour. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target is also unconscious while poisoned in this way. The target wakes up if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.)
Yawgou Attack: 22 Damage: 5 (On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 hour. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target is also unconscious while poisoned in this way. The target wakes up if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.)
"AH!" Yawgou exclaims as bolt fires from the shadows, hitting his exposed arm. Con ST: 22
(NAT 20!!!!!)
On his turn the next go around:
Action -- No longer hidden after making their attack, Yawgou spots the origin of the two bolts and fires a Sacred Flame toward the nearest crossbowman. (DC 13 DEX ST or take 8 radiant damage)
Movement -- After firing off his attack, he charges into the darkness towards the crossbowman in an attempt to close the distance.
Attacked from behind! Cowards! Bear turns, her eyes flashing, her face elongating, the fur which already covers her body growing. She rushes whichever of the snipers she can get to.
Bonus action: Beasthide shifting — 4+4 temp HP and +1 to AC
The elf neatly sidesteps the blow and retaliates with a sidearm thrust. Attack: 24 Damage: 8
The elf leader extends her pale hands to the heavens and hurls a handful of silver sand into the air, casting Sleep. HP affected: 23 (Please post your current HP)
(Which elf casted the spell and over which area? To clarify: I'm just asking because I'm guessing the hidden elves that fired the crossbows were stealthed outside of Yawgou's initial perception that caught the two approaching elves, so there should be quite a bit of separation now between Yawgou, Bear and Belzaphira after the former pair rushed the hidden crossbows)
(Sorry all, it's been a week. We had to put our dog done Monday afternoon, and I had three days worth of dental work done. Finally back to thinking clearly.)

YAWGOU
"THAT ONE BEARS THE MARK OF THE RAVEN!" Yawgou yells, pointing at the elf with the raven tattoos. Almost instinctually, he pops into his shell.
