GREYSTONE
(If Nil's attacks still miss): Confused at how his last three strikes haven't met its mark, Jackson changes tactics and grabs onto the Redbrand, attempting to cast Inflict Wounds.
The redbrand, uncannily dodging attacks and dealing damage to the group, believes he has the upper hand. He laughs deeply as he dodges Harukai’s kicks. He draws back his shortsword for another attack, smerking at the group throwing attacks at him and missing. As his arm is raised, Nil makes a rapid move to the side and slices with his rapier and stabs the dagger into the side of the bandit.
Reacting from the sudden pain, the bandit jumps away from Nil, straight into the range of Jackson. Jackson’s free hand is glowing with a dark energy and when he touches the arm of the bandit, wounds begin to open all over his body. Blood spills from these new wounds and increases from those made by Nil until he falls to the ground in a cry of pain and succumbs to the damage of the spell.
Harukai assists Jackson with binding up both our wounds, offering him the healing potion if he needs it (and we are out of other healing magic).
”Those bandits were tough, but Tyr gave us victory,” says Harukai, smiling at Jackson.
Harukai will help search the room and the bandits’ bodies. He will also look at the supplies in the two rooms, especially looking for materials which would help the woodcutter’s family get back on their feet.
in between looking, he will rest and recover a bit (suggesting we take a short rest and spend HD)...

I searching the rooms you don’t find much else of value but you do notice something in the cistern. A waterproof bag containing a potion of healing, a potion of invisibility, 50 gold, and some clothing.
Harukai hands the bag to Jackson for distribution, suggesting that he may want to drink the healing potion in it. Once we have rested, Harukai is ready to move on and clear the rest of the hideout.

Once Jackson is ready to move along, Harukai helps the others check the hideout thoroughly to make sure they have eliminated the threats. Then we should go out the door at the top of the landing and see what we find.

"Thank you for your concern friends, but I am okay, thanks to the both of you." He places a hand on Nil's shoulder, then moves to take the bag from Harukai. He downs the healing potion within it (10), pockets the Potion of Invisibility, and keep none of the gold for himself, handing 25gp to each of his two companions. He smiles at Harukai's mention of Tyr, responding, "Indeed. That was...a close one. But no time to worry about me. We must remain focused on the task at hand if we are to get to Gundren before it's too late. Let us make our way back to the town and check in our friends there."
In checking through the hideout, it is cleared of enemies. At the crevasse you can smell decay coming from the southern side of the pit. The chest you had found was on the northern side.
The door leads out of the hideout throt what was the cellar entrance of the old estate. The sun is low in the sky nearing sunset, but the brightness still dazzles you for a moment after being in the dungeon for a while. Walking with the family, you traverse the road from the manor back into town. The family is extreamly greatful. They have no money for a reward, but tell you that in the nearby ruins of thundertree, the family left an emerald necklace behind in their alcamy shop which is a family heirloom when she was just a little girl.
In approaching the inn you are met by Sildar who says “friends, i am glad you made it back. I have Iarno detained in the barn of a local farmer and Alliance members from Neverwinter are on their way to retrieve him. Word of his capture spread quickly. A few remaining redbrands hold up in the tavern fled for the mountains.”

Harukai kicks toward the redbrand, but he is able to just dodge both kicks.
OOC: Nil, back to the top of the round, reroll your rolls since you are surrounding the bandit and can have a flanking advantage.

Nil will make sure to stay with the family while Harukai double checks the area
Also, if we can recover the body of the murdered woodcutter for burial, that would be good.
