(Total was 50 damage with 11 coming from the warpick, 24 from guardians, 7 from spiritual weapon and 8 from CD). All praise the gnome with a photographic memory for numbers
Thanks Squiggles! I saw it too but didn't remember all those. I think the lowest attack roll was 22, right?
WIS save vs Spirit Guardians: 21
Celric, divine strike isn't a channel divinity; you just get it all the time on weapon attacks. Would apply to both attacks. So another d8.
Except, there's nothing that makes your hammer's damage magical, is there? War Cleric's divine strike adds damage of the same type as the original weapon. I'm not sure, actually. Would the extra damage be magical bludgeoning, or just regular bludgeoning?
Thanks everyone. Yeah my lowest attack roll was still over 20. And looks like only one extra d8 for divine strike. I fixed my sheet so I still have all my channel divinities
Divine StrikePHB63
Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage. [14th] 2d8 damage.
Oh, sorry, so it only applies once. But it applies every turn; it's not a limited resource like channel divinity. I can't find an answer as to whether the damage is magical though. I guess since nothing indicates that it is, I interpret "the same type dealt by the weapon" to mean "non-magical bludgeoning" in the case of a non-magical warhammer. But if anyone has a citation otherwise, let me know. In any case, still 21 damage, which is not bad considering.
(Remove the crit dice damage roll and add it to the end of your post, that should restore the originals. You get an error if you insert another roll between other rolls.)
(Thanks monkey that worked! Previous crit die roll was a 7)
From PHB diving strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage of the same type dealt by the weapon to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Thanks Squiggles! I saw it too but didn't remember all those. I think the lowest attack roll was 22, right?

The puddle of drool spreads unchecked at Balian's feet...
(legendary action) The mind-flayer lashes out with a tentacle at the surprisingly strong goblin pinning him to the ground, pinning the barbarian in turn and knocking him unconscious.
Jarl moves enough to peer around the corner, cast Chill Touch, and move back behind cover. The skeletal hand grips the mind-flayer by the throat, and a few bits of the already dry, cracked flesh flake off, though the impact seems to be attenuated from what Jarl normally expects (6 damage).
(legendary action) The mind-flayer grips a bit of crystal around his neck, says a few arcane words, but Squiggles recognizes the standard invisibility spell, and once again foils the caster's plans with a counterspell.
Celric walks up to the probed opponent and stands over the mind flayer and says, “By the guidance of Bahamut, I will be the last face you see.” He then unleashes nearly everything he has, attacking the mind-flayer with his spiritual weapon as well as his warhammer, the latter fueled with the divine energy of Bahamut. The warhammer connects, despite the target being invisible, but does not appear to affect the creature. The spiritual weapon, however, as an object of magical force, strikes the creature soundly (9 damage).
Brix lies bleeding and unconscious, pinned to the ground by a monstrous tentacle (Death save: 11)
FlyntTBD
Squiggles feels his adrenaline rushing and is flat out pissed off that this thing is trying to mess with his brain. "I attempted to warn you. Don't say we didn't give you a chance". He begins to perform the incantation to cast Bigby's Hand, but the savvy mind-flayer recognizes the spell instantly and gives the gnome a taste of his own medicine, waving a tentacle and causing the arcane energy building in the gnomes hands to dissipate (counterspell at 5th level, cuz this guy got him some arcana skill).
The mind-flayer is once again assaulted by Celric's spirit guardians, and once again seems to resist the full impact, but is injured by the radiant energy nonetheless (12 damage).
It stands, and slithers over the unconscious body of Brix to the south, staring intently at Squiggles (to K13). Waving its tentacles and muttering it pulls out a crystal bead. As it completes its incantation, a translucent green sphere appears around it extending 10 feet in all directions.
Balian ( stunned; DC 18 INT save at end of turn to escape) Shale Jarl Celric (concentrating on spirit guardians, round 4) Brix (unconscious: 1 and 0 on death saves) Flynt (stunned; see above) Squiggles Mind Flayer (-104)
Celric will command the spiritual weapon 20feet south and attacks. He then will walk up to the mind flayer again 25ft south and open his mouth spewing fire all over the flayer.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Balian
INT save: 6
Enjoying the dark seclusion of the space between the pillar and the wall, the thief, in his stunned state, notices for the first time the presence of sparkly, shiny stars circling his head.
Shale pulls out his staff and begins to charge toward the mind flayer, then notices the body of their friend on the ground. "Keep your nasty tentacles off that goblin!" He then points his shield in the air emblazoned with the symbol of his goddess. "Huntress! Preserve my friend's life!"
