((some good rolls above~~)) Liet will listen to the group reporting they found nothing around the cabin. "Perhaps it's time to approach?" He'll ask. "I'm not the only quiet one here it seems. Good to know."He also will have snuffed his flame, looking at the cabin planning his approach.
As you approach you begin to be able to see through one of the half shattered windows. Once Theos is about 10 feet away he can see two men, armed and lightly armored sleeping on the floor. There are two major rooms to this cabin. Once you sneak around to the other, you see 6 more men, also all asleep, armed, and lightly armored. On each of their forearms is a band similar to the one you saw Albert wearing before his untimely demise.
He's dead, but you could roll investigation to see what you can find out. Note, if you dilly dally outside the cabin any longer, I'm going to have to get more stealth rolls. So if you look over the corpse, then roll both cause it will take a minuet, otherwise I'm assuming you're all heading back out of the clearing to discuss events, in which case you don't need another stealth.
When you turn the corpse over you see his chest soaked in blood. He was run clean through with a weapon it seems. Also, his arm also appears to have a wound similar to his friend. Additionally, his eyes are sunken in, and his skin is pale and sagging. You notice nothing else. You get back to Ruhkis without anyone noticing you, you think.
...upon receiving a scouting a report, whispers to anyone around, "We can't be sure that this lot are the ones causing ALL the trouble for the caravans, but based on our encounter with them back on the road I think it's safe to say that they are certainly causing SOME trouble. Dealing with them still falls within our mandate and we should come up with a plan to do something about them."
Looking to those who scouted, "Were there any other doors to the cabin other than the one we can see now?"
Theos will return like Liet, but will not stay to search the body. "Any ideas? I think that we should find a way to get a hold of one of those arm bands. They may have clues as to what's going on around here."
"We need to thin the herd a bit. Their numbers have me more than a little concerned."
Ruhkis thinks for a bit longer before speaking again. "I'm guessing that they only send three or four down to the road at a time. What if we leave a couple of you sneaks here to keep an eye on the cabin while the rest of us set up an ambush back down the trail and out of earshot. You can signal us with a fire arrow or something when they're on their way and then give chase once you're sure no one else from the cabin is following."
McFuddy lands in a tree on a low hanging branch near the party. "Do you feel the band is a good enough "proof" to show we have stopped the troubles? Additionally, if we set up a trap back by the road who is to say they don't go a different way? It seems the men who wronged us are dead, and the men in this cabin we know nothing about. perhaps they killed the men for being cruel to us and others.... however, i wouldn't trust them either.... perhaps one of us could simply knock on the door and talk with them, if any funny business happens, the rest of us could step in for help. they wont be expecting a knock at the door, let alone a party in wait. in fact i could sit on the roof, and if anything happens i will be there to intervene instantly."

NALLA
Nalla nods at McFuddy's suggestion. "I agree that we should try to speak with the men first..." She says with a quiet and shy voice. She checks with the party to make sure her words haven't angered or caused discomfort to anyone.
"The men in the cabin appear to have killed that one"Liet will say, pointing to the corpse "and left him unceremoniously to rot. But if you'd like to talk, go ahead. I'll be staying quiet back here and will keep watch."
"You can tell a lot about people by seeing how they treat their dead."
Pointing to the body next to the cabin, the dwarf continues. "I think that right there is all the indication I need for how yer conversation will go. But if yer set on talking first, then best take precautions. We need to block up that back door and have cover on the windows. If it goes south, it will happen quickly and with their numbers they could circle behind us unless we do something about it."
"I agree, these men are probably not great. However, we were on our way to kill this man as well. And what great works did we do with the last 2 men that we passed by seeing as they were dead? I'm just saying these men might also have had grievances with the men who attack Liet. So they finished the job just as we came to do. Or maybe they are just as problematic, and in which case we need to deal with them in the same manner. HOWEVER i will not attack a man who is sleeping who has done nothing wrong. I believe talking with them will be the fastest way to confirm on which side of the fence they sit." Mcfuddy Clutches his bow, and stretches out his wings "And if i speak with them, whose to say that you all don't just leave me be. I can sit in wait on the roof, and be the fastest support in case of an issue."
Nalla looks between her teammates, face turning red. She scratches the large scar on her left arm as she looks down at the ground. "Well...maybe we can do both?" She gives Ruhkis a strained smile. "We could wait down the road to grab a smaller group, like Ruhkis said, and then talk to them before any violence?"
"And if i speak with them, whose to say that you all don't just leave me be. I can sit in wait on the roof, and be the fastest support in case of an issue."
"I'm sorry to hear you have so little faith in our newly formed group. You are not in a special position to get closer though. Any of us could try to approach quietly and listen to the talk, though some better than others. I'll gladly try to sneak up to the side of the building and listen while you discuss things with those inside. I can also send silent messages to any who would rather remain slightly further back." Liet will reply
Theos will rejoin the conversation ((sorry, I was out this weekend)). "These people, although rude and uncivilized are still people. They deserve another chance. Hopefully, we can talk with them and offer them that chance, ending this issue without bloodshed. We should talk with them if possible, but be careful."

"Yes, let's approach. I don't think we'll find much now if we haven't already. But we should stay quiet still."
If the others will approach as well, Theos will move forward, taking care to stay out of sight.

I'm keeping your original. Lucky you!

((very!!! Thanks ^^ ))
"Are we to spring a trap on them? Or should we return with news and reinforcements?" Liet will ask.
Also, did we see how the person we were following was killed (assuming he was dead, and not sleeping outside the cabin)?

With Rhukis having stayed back, Liet will start to head back to report to him.
While heading back to the trees Liet will stop at the corpse to see what he can learn along the way. STEALTH: 9; INVESTIGATION: 20

Liet will share any information he had, though defer to others when it comes to battle plans.

There was a back door, yes.
