The small goblin army snuck through the gate, knocking out a few of the guards on patrol along the way. However, what they didn't expect was the ranger, Del'ynor, hiding in the shadow of a large tree roughly fifty meters from the small bands position.  Gently slipping a poison arrow from his quiver, he nocks the arrow and pulls it back, the horsehair strings subtly creaking under the strain. Waiting four heartbeats before the attack while allowing his target to get into better view, he let loose his arrow, praying that his aim was true. 

The arrow whizzed by the bulbous head of the goblin, sticking into the wooden post near the fence directly behind the creature, and alerting the other three to the fact that they were in fact not alone.

"Blast!" Del'ynor hissed, pulling another arrow from his quiver. He had little time to react, however, as the goblins would soon realize from which direction the arrow came.
