Marching Order from Front to Back: Creolina-Prax-Nelvik-Theylanir-Kirec
With the mighty Creolina leading the party they begin up the Goblin Trail. There are no goblins in sight except for the tracks that leadnorth.
About 10 minutes into the trail Creolina's Passive Perception picks up on something out of place. She notices what appears to be a tree bent over by force. As she follows this tree with her eyes she sees a rope leading down to a classic snare that is staked into the ground.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The group sets up an ambush site on both sites of the trail. Using his finesse Kirec reaches out with [item[rapier[/item] and triggers the snare.
**WHOOSH** the party hears as the tree snaps back and the ropes sails into the air before it comes back down dangling harmlessly. Kirec takes his position with the others.

One hour passes... then another.. nothing happens. No sign of friend or foe.
After traveling along the trail for another 10 minutes Creolina's perception is actively searching for new threats. She stops suddenly as she notices the trail does not look as it seems. Upon further investigation, Creolina discovers a pit which presumably the goblins have camouflaged as another trap. By carefully prodding around you identify that the pit is 6 feet wide, 10 feet deep, and it triggers when a creature moves across it. The pit is not that steep and seems to mainly be meant to inflict damage rather than hold someone in for capture.
Following the goblins' trail, you come across a large cave in a hillside five miles from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream.
Kirec approaches the cave mouth. As he gets closer to the cave he begins to hear faint snarling coming from inside the cave. However, that is not what catches Kirec's attention. When he looks to the east he notices something possibly more pressing.
On the east side of the stream flowing from the cave mouth, a small area in the briar thicket has been hollowed out to form a lookoutpost or blind. Wooden planks flatten out the briars and provide room for guards to lie hidden and watch the area - including a pair of goblins lurking there right now!
From what Kirec can tell, since the goblins are not moving to attack him they do not seem to have noticed him.
Kirec waves frantically at the rest of the party. He then points through the bushes at the two goblins. You all can see them but they do not seem to have noticed you all yet. In your dealings with goblins you know that they have a habit of being lazy. You all are not in initiative yet so you can move anywhere you like on the map. Of course, they may see you depending on what you want to do.
If you progress up the trail I need marching orders.
Who’s is in front?
Who is in the back?
The rest will be in the middle.
“I would like to stay in the middle of the group. Maybe behind whoever we have leading.” Says Prax
"Ladies first"
"Fill!"

"How about we trigger the trap and see who comes to get it?" Creolina asks.
" see if anyone is watching, maybe draw a few of them out, I like it. Might lose our element of surprise though."

" I guess we took care of the blokes that would have checked it. Lets keep going."
You travel along in the same marching order for another ten minutes. It's all quiet.
Creolina, please make a perception check.

OOC- I do understand moving through water is double movement for that square. I would like to move as close as I can.
