The moment Quetzalcoatl steps into the water, she hears what seems to be a whisper coming from the water. It quickly grows louder into a beautiful song, full of sorrow yet also of love. Only she hears this song. Quetzalcoatl should make a Wisdom saving throw.
The girl in the water slowly turns with the flow of the water, and you can now see that she is a mermaid. Her body ends at the waist, where a large fish-like tail extends. It looks like she is singing in the water, and her eyes remain closed and peaceful.
Additionally, post what you will be doing whenever it gets to your turn.
Current Conditions: The siren is in the water, singing her song, which has entranced Quetzalcoatl. The other three of you are standing at the bank of the river. If you go into the river without holding onto the rope, you will have to do an athletics check to see if you can stay on your feet.

Balrun
With the pull of the rushing water and the weight of Quetzalcoatl, I attempt to sure my footing by planting my foot against the largest rock nearby and keeping my hold on the rope.

The siren attacks Quetzalcoatl with its claws, dealing 5 damage. Thakdrith and Balrun both try to pull the druid back to shore. With a strong pull, Quetzalcoatl is pulled up and out of the water, and the trance is broken. The siren attempts to flee downriver when you notice that it has a chain around its ankle that keeps it stuck to the rocks. What do you do?

Quetzalcoatl
Keeping one eye on the harpy and the other on the opposite bank, Quetzalcoatl follows Maromin across the river, wincing slightly at the pain in her wounded arm.

Thakdrith
Thakdrith crosses last, after everyone else is safely on the far side of the river bank, retrieving his rope & javelin invention.
"I almost feel sorry for the poor thing. Nothing should live chained up like that...Is there nothing we could do to ease it's suffering?"
Thakdrith seems to have an epiphany- "Hear me out, i understand if nobody wants to help, and this may be a terrible idea. But doesn't seem to be undead, or evil, i would have sensed it earlier if so. It may be acting purely out of survival instinct. My hunch is that it has no love for whoever or whatever shackled it there. Should we try and show we mean no harm, and attempt to set it free?"
Quetzalcoatl ponders this doubtfully, her sympathetic nature conflicting with the pain in her arm. In the end, the former wins the argument. "We could try."
Balrun
Eyeing the rope for a second, he looks up at Quetzalcoatl before nodding and grabbing the rope and wrapping it around his arm.

Quetzalcoatl
Quetzalcoatl stares, entranced by the beautiful song. It reminds her of something she can't quite place...
Wisdom ST: 17
Unaware of anything but the mermaid and her entrancing song, Quetzalcoatl dives into the water.

I want Thakdrith to go try and help Balrun pull the druid back ashore. 20
(I assume Quetzalcoatl is currently unable to take any actions? So much for the +5 Wisdom ST modifier. :P)

Quetzalcoatl
"Many thanks, friends." Quetzalcoatl says as the spell is lifted. Grabbing a handful of mud from the riverbank, she slaps it on her wound.

Maromin sighs in relief for Quetzalcoatl. She grabs hold of the rope and carefully makes her way across the river.

The harpy is stuck to the rocks by a chain, which it tries (unsuccessfuly) to pull and break. What do you do?
