First round of combat that I did not post for -> Kenneth reaches out with his left hand as a ghostly green skeletal hand floats out of his hand and darts towards the door, missing.
Second round -> Kenneth sends a second skeletal hand towards the door hoping to hit it this time. "Hey Puli, try this on for size!" Kenneth flicks his right wrist toward Puli and Kai takes off landing gently on Puli's head then returning to Kenneth's raptor sleeve.
"Suit yourself then, little friend."Jolly comments as he took back the offer from his fellow cleric. As he turns ready to lob another stone at the "door", the firbolg hesitates for a moment, and narrows his eyes. 'Was that...' He catches himself mid-thought and shakes his head. "Go Sleepy Sunday!"He calls out, resolved in that moment to focus on the fight, and not on skeletal hands. Sadly, the rush to act nearly gets Puli popped upside the head. "O-oh! Sorry Bird-friend!"
Jolly casts Magic Stone!

((Not sure where we're at in initiative, so posting here for whenever it's Puli's turn.))
Puli's eyes widen as Kai lands on her head, a surprised chirp coming from her as a skeletal hand appears. She stumbles a bit as Kai takes off, allowing her to move out of the way of Vigar's sword as he swings. Just as she regains her footing, a stone whizzes by her head. Puli will swing again at the creature with her shortsword, then back away ((BA: Disengage)).
As Puli falls back Vigar yells "Hey you! Come after me leave her alone!" to allow Puli a chance to gain some distance then steps between Puli and the door. Swinging his longsword from his right to left connecting causing a gap to open up across it. "Ah thats a better shot I think I have you figured out now!"
Kenneth, keeping towards the back, sends a third skeletal hand darting towards the door finally making contact this time. "Ha, it just takes a little practice! I've got this down now!"
"You go sleepy, sleepy now bad door!"Jolly says as he winds up his next pitch. "Go, smiling Jo!" He sends it flying at its forehead. Or at least, where he thinks a forehead exists. "Ohh… You okay there, Bookman?" He calls out after the bite.
Puli moves back, stowing her shortsword and getting out her shortbow. She would love to try out Kenneth's dragon breath, but she is afraid of hitting Vigar, who would certainly be in the way. She waits, ready to blow if the opportunity presents itself.
"Mn! So I see--Oh dear!"Jolly tries to bring up his shield in time to catch the creature's offending appendage, only for it to bite deep into his side. For split moment, Jolly isn't so jolly. The pained expression had turned to rage as the staff still in hand began twisting and undulating like vines, forming a bulbous head with runes faintly glowing along its surface. "Shillelagh." He intones before bringing the head down hard against any perceivable skull.
As the creature turns to go around Vigar he reacts with lightning speed attacking it as it brushes him aside missing with his reaction. He sees the creature lurch forward and hit his big friend in the side and lets out a yell of rage at his inability to keep the creature focused on him. He then charges to close the distance between him and the creature and swings his sword in a wide arch over his head with his longsword connecting cutting a huge gap into its back. "Jolly I am sorry friend I am doing my best keeping its attention off of you to no avail! I will take full advantage of it having its back to me though!"
The figure that the door had taken shakes and shambles as it falls apart and falls back to the ground ruined pieces of the door that was once there remain on the ground where the creature had been before. The frame where the door had been is now open hinges empty where the creature had made its camouflage and lay in waiting. Beyond the door frame you can make out a set of narrow stairs that empty into a small courtyard, apparently the top of what was once a crenelated battlement. The buried citadel has sunk so far into the earth that the battlement is now level with the surrounding floor. That floor stretches away to the north and south, composed of a layer of treacherous, crumbled masonry, which reaches to an unknown depth . To the west looms the surviving structure of what must be the Sunless Citadel. A tower stands on the west side of the courtyard.
Vigar looks at the group frowns and says "Well friends I am sorry but I feel that I have been ineffective in this role. My pride has been hurt and I feel that this ruin will not help me find what I need for my hearts desire. I shall make your leave and I will return to my fathers business and learn the trade. Please visit me when you are back. I would love to write a story of your adventures."
By some serendipity, just as Vigar announces his departure, a dwarf comes running up to the group. "Ay! Is this the Sunless Citadel?" he asks. "I've been lookin' for this place. I hear there's some goblins that need killin'?"
Jolly eats one of his Goodberry, and had been in the process of offering 2 to Puli when Vignar's spoke. There's some brow furrowing, a glance or two at the others, and at one point it even looked as if he might say something, only to close his mouth without a word. "Eat. Make feel better." Jolly makes his way over to Vigar on that note, and places a hand on his shoulder. "Way never fully clear at first. But you find path again. I see it."He pulls Vigar into a bearhug and musses his hair.
"See Bookman again someday." Jolly beaming expression turns to one of confusion as he looks to the dwarf. "Curious way of my Lady."He elbows Vigar one last time for one last jest, then gives the dwarf his full attention. "Not know 'bout killin. But here all same to find, friend short man." He says innocently as he starts to pet the dwarf on the head. "Looking for special fruit here. They send you here as well. Know place better?"
Just a reminder, the Jolly's Goodberry heals for 5 hp a piece since he cast the spell at 2nd level.

Puli gratefully takes the berries from Jolly with a chirp of thanks. She cocks her head as Vigar leaves, letting out sorrowful clicks as he passes by. She blinks in surprise as the dwarf comes running up, watching Jolly as he talks to the newcomer.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While waiting for the new guy to catch his breathe, Jolly turns to walking down into the courtyard and taking a look from afar for any signs of lookouts in the western tower. "Strange place. Reminds me of home. But not. Think there might be fey around?"He asks of any that followed after him. And if none did, well, he was content all the same to look over the tower for awhile.
As Jolly looks out across the expanse he makes note that alot of crumbled masonry surrounds the entire citadel. Thinking to himself that it seems that it would be difficult to cross. Also you make out an area that seems to be out of place, something just isn't right about it. While investigating you do see another set of doors about 30 feet on the other side of the disturbance of the masonry.
Jolly returns to the others after a few moments with his report on things. He again leans in close and starts to touch Puli in his inspection of her injuries. Regardless of whether or not that he is buffeted in his efforts, he just grins as he takes back in everyone again. "It will be tricky. Very tricky. But we be fine. Probably want rope." He makes a motion of tying it around his waist with a final hard tug. "Just in case. Yay? I will be last, if okay?"

Puli stands patiently while Jolly inspects her now healed wounds, chirping softly in thanks as he does. As Jolly indicates the rope, Puli will point to herself. "I go first, sneak, yes?" she asks.
A for once pensive Jolly looks to the others, and then back to Puli. "Brave one wish go. Brave one go."He smiles sweetly. "Still need rope for path." At that he fishes out his own hempen rope(50ft) and passes it to Puli. Unless someone objected or had another plan in mind, Jolly would be the only one left unbound. But before any can ask, a green, obscuring mist started pouring from the firbolg's fur until only a vague silhouette can be seen falling onto all fours.
The moment his hands would reach the ground, the mist immediately disperses, leaving exposed a green and red Giant Wolf Spider with bed of moss and budding seeds standing there. Jolly waves to the others nonchalantly, though quickly retreats if someone starts to look malevolently towards him.
