Kenneth had read about druids being capable of shapeshifting, but has never seen it done. Initially the transformation startled him, and startled him even more upon seeing the shape his ally had chosen to taken. After the initial shock however, Kenneth quickly glances at his hawk, giving a simple telepathic command to not hunt him down. "I'm ready when everyone else is, I have a few torches on me in case its dark down there."
Jolly pantomimes clapping his front two forelegs together at Kenneth's statement. Though there's a moment of panic after that leaves him shuddering and edging away from the wizard. Until everyone has crossed Jolly gets in a position to hide in plain sight as a rock covered in moss. Or at least his best approximation of one as an off-colored wolf spider while waiting for Pulis report. Only afterwards does he scurry over and climbs up on the wall just above the doorway.
As Dalig, Kenneth, and Puli ever so gently pull themselves across the shifting masonry Dalig who is in the rear starts to lose his footing sliding down towards a crevice that has opened up about 5 feet away, Puli who is directly infront of Dalig starts to get pulled towards this crevice as well. As the two are sliding, they grab frantically at masonry that is on the ground, both finding a steady piece finally. Kenneth pulling on the line with all of his might to prevent his companions from falling into the hole. The group of tied together adventurers finish crossing the courtyard.
As you approach the arched doorway infront of you, again with no doors on the frame you see that this circular area is cobbled with cracked granite, upon which sprawl the bodies of four goblins, apparently slain in combat. One corpse stands with its back against the western wall, the spear that killed it still skewering it and holding it upright. Three wooden doors lead from this area. A hollow tower of loose masonry reaches thirty feet into the air, but the intervening floors and stairs are gone, except for a couple of crumbled ledges.
Jolly wipes at where his eyebrows would be after seing the whole thing go down. If need be he might've risked poisoning Kenneth trying to bite down and hold him in place. Luckily, things do not go that way. Still, he more closely watches the group progresses the rest of the way while nimbly avoiding or remaining attached on solid portions of stones on his way over to the other side.
Instincts take over seeing the bodies, prompting the transformed firbolg to drag one of the corpses and start drinking it while the others probably examined the rest.

Puli shudders watching Jolly the spider start feasting on one of the goblin corpses. Ruffling her feathers, she turns back and moves to investigate the corpse that is skewered into the wall.
Puli turns to her companions after looking at the bodies. "Goblins. Rats chew," she chirps. She turns back to the goblin and reaches forward to remove the spear skewering him to the wall, pulling on it.
As she does, and the body slumps forward, she notices writing on the wall behind it. Squinting at it, she cocks her head, chirping with curiosity. She turns to the others. "Read?" she says, pointing to the writing.
Jolly comes over, dropping a now desiccated husk of a goblin along the way for a look. Then backs away and awkwardly tries to show a shoulder shrug motion using his forward two legs. Afterwards, he skitters on to the left most of the three doors. And against his better judgement, the transformed firbolg gives it a few tentative pokes to see if attacks, then moves on to do the same to the others until satisfied that the ways were safe. Though if ne notices something else strange about the paths -- perhaps tracks in the dust from the goblins or their assailants -- he motions the others over quickly.
Jolly lets out an angry or excited sounding hiss back towards the rest of the party. As the look, he starts gesturing southern side of the room, and then skitters his way over to a pile of rocks and vines. The latter he takes in mandible and forearms, and tugs with all his spidery might until it shifts enough, revealing a hidden door! Only once folk started gathering over that he starts gesturing to a masonry block that also serves as a lever, which can be pushed in on the left side or pulled out from the right.
The Fir-spider starts gesturing eagerly to the dwarf and human, then back to the mechanism before skittering back to watch.

Puli watches Jolly move the rocks, her eyes lighting up as he reveals the hidden door. She chirps excitedly. "We open door? Check for traps first?"
