This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Delg will roll the barrel to about six feet from the trap, make sure the others are back in the room, then give it a hard shove toward the trap and run back to the door.
Delg shoves the barrel across the trap, then moves back towards the east end of the hallway. The barrel rolls along the ground. When it hits the trap, there is a sudden crunching sound, and the floor gives way. The barrel falls into the pit, and there is now a hole in the middle of the hallway. There are narrow ledges around the hole left intact - perhaps enough to skirt around the pit without falling in.
The party reaches the end of the hallway without incident and stands before the double doors. They are made of copper, tarnished with age, and have what appears to be mourning angels carved into each door.
Raya will help Delg get the barrel into the room. "won't hurt to check, i hope"

Those of you close enough hear Mulligan mutter under his breath as he retreats from the room: "Damned allergies".

Delg makes a slow approach to the edge of the pit and looks down.

He also eyes the ledge, considering how well he'll do on it.
The pit is just a dirt pit, about 20 ft deep. The ledges on each side seem sturdy enough for everyone to pass safely.
Raya will skirt past the pit to the other side and try to discern any other traps by scanning the floor.

Raya - you look closely, but don't see any other areas that seem abnormal.
Past the pit in the floor is the west end of the hallway with the decorated double doors.
Raya addresses the group "looks clear over here guys. it's safe to to pass over the trap. Looks like there's a set of doors over here."
Ajax follows silently the instructions, just nodding his head
Delg follows as well, treading carefully.
Mulligan pulls up the rear of the group, as ever watching for threats from behind us.

Delg will look at the doors. Does he remember hearing anything about statuary like this?
History: 14
Delg - you don't remember anything specific about the carvings, but they remind you of the elvish style of decorations.
"I know they're elvish, but nothing else. Can't even say for sure if they're the same as the tombs we saw before, but I would have to guess so."
Raya hears Delg and, being a High Elf herself, will see if she recognizes the carvings.

Raya - you look closely at the carvings, and they are definitely of elvish style, albeit from long ago.
Melkias sighs quietly.
"I suppose we should say hello..."
He listens at the door.
