Delg smiles. "He was here for a mine. So there is little mystery. Just who is doing the thinking. Though we have a guess. But even a young dragon might have something of use. Perhaps if we find his lair..."
As Delg finishes speaking, you see Reidoth's eyes light up. "Yesss," he says with a triumphant whisper. "His lair is easy enough to find - he has taken up residence in the tower to the north. As for the mine your kin was looking for, I might know where it is. Perhaps a trade?" he asks. "You help me rid this area of the dragon and restore the balance, and in return I will lead you to this mine. What say you?" he asks, looking around at the party.
Reidoth looks surprised at Delg's words. "My information is good," he says, "but I plan on going with you, so you won't have to look far for my head, should it come to that."
"As I said, it is a young dragon, but even so, may be a formidable foe. He has taken the tower to the north for his lair. Besides the dragon, there are other dangers, likely due to the upset balance in this area. There are undead, plant monsters, and perhaps spiders. Also, the people I've seen briefly east of here may be a cause for concern as well." He sighs. "In any case, regardless of the dangers, the dragon is the biggest threat. With him gone, the balance can be restored and the forest can take care of the rest," he says. With an eye to Ajax snoring away, he says, "Do any of you have an idea for dealing with the dragon?"
"What do you know about the tower? Who was there before the dragon, why did they leave, how long has it been there, anything like that you can think of could help."
"The tower where the dragon lairs used to be a wizard's tower, back before Thundertree was overrun by undead. It seems likely that the dragon was looking for a new home and simply decided on the tower. I've not been inside the tower myself, so I don't know what secrets it may hold," Reidoth says.
Reidoth inhales sharply and then exhales slowly. He smiles tightly at Delg. “The tower is to the north, as I said. I stay here sometimes to help the balance. The undead have been here for years. I did put the signs up, so that unwary travelers would know to avoid the area. I have seen some creatures around here that resemble small branches, but walk about unnaturally,” he says. “What other manner of foul creatures may be in the area, I don’t know.”
"How long is the journey to this tower in the north? How many others have you sent along before us?" Another pleasant smile appears, but more genuine. "When was the last time you saw the dragon? Does anything else change when it appears? Does it just fly about or does it look closer?"
“The tower is but a short distance to the north. I have not met nor sent any others before you. I haven’t seen the dragon in a few days. I think he is comfortable in his lair. It likely only leaves when it is hungry. I have not seen it change into anything else,” he says, looking at Delg with one eyebrow raised. “We can sleep tonight and walk there in the morning, perhaps before it is awake.”
At Delg's words, Reidoth nods. "Yes, let's get some sleep. I'm sure dealing with the dragon will take all our cunning." He turns and begins readying himself for sleep. "No need for a watch," he says. "It is safe to sleep here without worry."
Delg smiles. "He was here for a mine. So there is little mystery. Just who is doing the thinking. Though we have a guess. But even a young dragon might have something of use. Perhaps if we find his lair..."

"I'm in," Mulligan says, with some uncertainty in his voice.
Reidoth nods at Mulligan and then turns back to the rest of party, wringing his hands anxiously.
"If your information proves false, then I shall be back for your head. Is that clear, druid?" Delg's smile is almost pleasant as he says this.
Reidoth looks surprised at Delg's words. "My information is good," he says, "but I plan on going with you, so you won't have to look far for my head, should it come to that."
Ajax says nothing but it is clear he is worried
"fine, we have a lot to do then... I will hit the sack"
He says his ritual prayers with a little more fervour and goes to sleep
“Perhaps we can devise a plan before we sleep,” Reidoth says. “The dragon will not go easily. Have any of you fought a dragon before?” he asks.
"The last dragon to journey thru my homelands was two generations ago. The tales are passed down, but I have not had the chance."
"As I said, it is a young dragon, but even so, may be a formidable foe. He has taken the tower to the north for his lair. Ajax listens and just nods no, he has no clue how to fight a dragon even young
"The tower where the dragon lairs used to be a wizard's tower, back before Thundertree was overrun by undead. It seems likely that the dragon was looking for a new home and simply decided on the tower. I've not been inside the tower myself, so I don't know what secrets it may hold," Reidoth says.
"Which way is it and how do we get in? You stay here just to warn others of the dragon, do you? You put the signs up? And what of the 'plants'?"
Reidoth inhales sharply and then exhales slowly. He smiles tightly at Delg. “The tower is to the north, as I said. I stay here sometimes to help the balance. The undead have been here for years. Delg nods. "We'll have to see for ourselves before we can make any plans. Might as well sleep if there is nothing else you can tell us."
Delg - as far as you can tell, he seems sincere.
At Delg's words, Reidoth nods. "Yes, let's get some sleep. I'm sure dealing with the dragon will take all our cunning." He turns and begins readying himself for sleep. "No need for a watch," he says. "It is safe to sleep here without worry."
Delg will settle against the wall opposite the door.
