As the centaur bears down on him Strix takes advantage of Redbrand 4's confusion, rolling to one side and sweeping his legs out from under him with his staff. He leaps atop the prone soldier, bellowing "Give us a kiss, gorgeous!" as his face trembles and ticks, beginning to shift, but he's interrupted by a cry of "No! Keep. Terrogate. Eat later."
Visibly disappointed, he merely bashes the Redbrand's head on the ground into unconsciousness, purring "Sleep..."
once out, he'll secure the Redbrand with rope and his wolf-chain from Kral's hideout.
(Dekhan is still unconscious and bleeding out, so you might want to see to him quickly…)
A very brief silence descends upon the little town, as the cries and clashing of swords on armour end. But the quiet is brief indeed, and soon there is noise coming from all directions. Sister Garaele has managed to help Daran Edermath down the road towards you, and the male elf shouts out to Zoria: Friend, are you injured?
The woman that Strix previously spoke to at Lionshield Coster has unlocked and opened the door with a crash. She is now standing in the doorway, staring at the corpses of the Redbrands, hands on hips, her expression unreadable.
From the large building directly to your northeast emerges a middle-aged halfling, who stomps towards you all with a frown; accompanying him is a familiar figure, Sildar Hallwinter, the tall human fighter coming through the same doorway after the halfling, but quickly catching up with his long strides. The halfling speaks: What… What is this mess? Explain this!
All these figures are converging on the scene of battle. What would you like to do?
Strix, you manage to restrain the surviving Redbrand with chain and rope, though he remains unconscious. He is tied up and lying in the middle of the street.
Zoria casts spare the dying on Dekhan. "Yes, Daran, I am fine. Untouched. Akadi has blessed me once more. However this man needs help." Referring to Dekhan.
Daran comes over as you tend to Dekhan; You have my thanks, and from what I saw, this battle might have ended differently without your aid. I will see to your reward in a moment, but now we have to deal with, and his voice lowers, this little piece of... He looks at the halfling who has just arrived along with Sildar.
Dekhan, you are no longer bleeding out, but you are still unconscious. If you are not healed magically, you will awaken in 2 hours with 1 HP.
Varinth has been thrown out of many an Inn ( and there was that one time that Soodi stood on his foot ) but he has never been seriously injured before. This is now quite evident as Varinth squirms on the ground blubbering;
Scupper starts dragging bodies out of the middle if the street. He's weak and visibly bleeding but seems to be single minded in his task.
"Listen you...lot. If any more of uhg...these bawbags manage to take a stroll and see this messsngh...were neck deep in shite already. We need time to heal. Time to plan. Time to tortu- interrogate....and a place to do it. I'm guessing the Inn would charge extra. What about that old bastard wit all the pains and remedies. He had no love for these Redbrands... where's he live. That old codger could use a bit of excitement in his twilight years."
Strix drags his pet off the main street and drives a piton through a link of the chain securing the prisoner into the ground. Before leaving him, he takes his sword and cloak - donning the latter. Then he proceeds to assist Scupper.
pains and remedies... repeats Sister Garaele as she checks Vaz. You're fine, man, just weakened. A rest will help you. She attempts to help Vaz to his feet, as she continues to speak to Scupper. Do you mean Narth? He lives...
She is interrupted by Daran Edermath. You are all welcome to rest and recover at my house; he points over the orchard and a small home nearby. There are more redbrands, though it's rare to see more than one band out in the town on a single day. Nevertheless, at some point these boys, he gives one of the dead Redbrands a satisfied kick, will be missed.
What are you talking about Daran? asks the newly arrived halfling. I won't have you stirring up trouble with these... he indicates the party... troublemakers. Why...
Shut your mouth, Hester, says Sister Garaele loudly; she seems a little taken aback by her own forthright comment.
Daran laughs and speaks: Yes. We've done things your way for long enough. Make yourself useful Hester, and help us move some of these bodies. Otherwise, go scuttle back to your hall by yourself.
Regaining his composure somewhat with the Sisters firm words, Varinth gets to his feet.
Do.. do we need me to umm.. you know, get rid of the evidence? I could get a pretty hot fire going. I may be a one trick pony but I do that trick rather wellHe smiles weakly
Everyone says they are moving the bodies but nobody has said where. I am having this great visual of everyone chatting and slowly dragging the bodies around in a large circle lol
At the moment, Scupper and some of the NPCs have dragged the bodies out of the middle of the street, but everyone needs to agree where, if anywhere, to take them - as well as the live one. Daran has offered his place, but you have other options.
I should ask; Out of combat can we safely say that, given enough time and fuel, Varinth could make a cremation type pyre? Of course now that I think on that sentence, a rather industrious howler monkey could make a cremation type fire with enough time and fuel but you know what I mean...
Varinth makes a whistling/clicking type noise in hopes that Soodi is inclined to come. Should she grace us with her presence, Varinth will search the camel for something to bandage his wound and more importantly down the last two cups of goblin beer.

Sorry! Yeah, I think that's fairer.
Ok, tried using the roller but it's fiddly on mobile. Did I screw up the second damage roll? You can't roll 11 on a d4+3!
Non-lethal by the way
Attack: 18 Damage: 11
Attack: 25 Damage: 11

@Strix: Would you like to describe how you
killknock-out this final Redbrand. The second damage roll is fine; it's high because it's critical.

Strix stands, addressing the Halfling while jerking a thumb at RB4.
Called Strix 'puppy'. Am man! Reddies attack. Reddies deadies. He yanks the chain wrapped around RB4s neck. Now who puppy, hmm?
He puts his hand to his flowing shoulder wound. It comes away bloodied. He slaps his hand on RB4s face, leaving a red imprint.
"Red brand!" He grins, delighted with his own wit.

Guys there’s only one left alive, should we interrogate him?
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3

OOC: is he referring to the redbrand or scupper as "little piece of"?

No, Sildar arrived with a middle-aged halfling who came from a nearby building. That's who he's referring to.
