Zoria, you can see that a small brown satchel of some kind is in the water; seeming to hold its position around two feet below the surface even though the pool is much deeper than that. You can reach it easily if you wish.
Zoria, you grab the satchel and pull. It's unexpectedly heavy, but as you pull it out, you realise it was attached by a short rope to a stone that held it below the surface. You take the rope off, and you have a waterproof leather satchel.
Inside, you find a set of common traveler's clothes, as well as a red-coloured potion that you recognise as a potion of healing. There's another small potion vial which looks empty, but when you pick it up it feels as though there is a liquid inside. Finally, you find 50 gold pieces tucked in a small cloth pouch at the bottom of the satchel.
Do I share this gold? Could I pocket it without them seeing. Doubtful. Maybe if I share this with them, then whatever spoils they come across, they will split with me. Why does life have to be so complicated.....
"Hey guys, I found some stuff! A healing potion, some gold that we can all split and something else that seems to be more than it appears. Does anyone know what this could be?" She extends the 'empty' vial, mainly toward Vaz as she puts the satchel around her torso.

Incantis traces a sigil in the air in front of him, eyeing the sarcophogi uneasily. "I was told about this," he says. "One thing I'll never understand is what na'Zhu* do with their dead. Why leave souls trapped in their earthly vestments when they could be banished to rejoice and learn in the eldritch plane?" He shudders, looking around the room for any threats before approaching the nearest sarcophagus to investigate.
Perception: 4
Investigation: 13
* I figure this might be needlessly confusing if I didn't explain OOC, but na'Zhu is the term for 'outsider' in Incantis' sect. Like goyem lol

Incantis, the nearest sarcophagus is E2/E3 on the most recent map. You walk towards the head of the sarcophagus and take a look. There is a carving of a human man in the lid of the sarcophagus; the stone carving is good quality and you can see he is standing, looking off into the distance, a sword in one hand and a shield in the other; the crest on the shield looks a little familiar - the tree with leaves and branches seems to echo some of the decoration on the walls of this place. There might be something written on the side of the sarcophagus, but you will need to move round it to get a closer look.

Dariofollows Incantisinto the crypt and goes the sarcophagus (B4B5) and examines it while Incantis looks at his. "Who do you think they were?" Darioasks his half-elf friend while he looks over the sarcophagus.
Dario, this sarcophagus bears the image of a human woman carrying a greataxe. The crest on her armour is the same as the one on the shield of the man on the other sarcophagus. It seems clear that these are prominent members of a family, buried side by side in their house's crypt. You do not see any other interesting symbols nor is there any writing on the lid or sides. A skeleton is resting one hand on the lid as its body, seated on the floor, slumps next to the sarcophagus itself.
That's a potion of invisibility Miss Zoria. I wonder if it works by volume? Should we give it to Mr Scupper and he could quickly scout ahead and find the others?
Incantis, as you move around the sarcophagus, you think you see a faint movement out of the corner of your eye, and you freeze. For a moment, everything is silent and still, and you think it was probably Dario as he carried out his own inspection.
Then there's a clattering noise as if some had dropped a hundred wooden blocks onto a wooden floor, and the three skeletons that had been resting on the sarcophagi rise to their feet. The rusty bits of armour they wear still manage to hold in place around their skeletal forms. The one nearest to you carries a shield and a longsword, similar to the figure on the carved lid of the sarcophagus except that the sword appears to have been broken in two, with the skeleton left wielding effectively a shortsword and half the blade remaining on the floor.
Dario and Incantis, please roll initiative.
Unfortunately this all happened over half an hour before the rest of the party arrived at the Redbrands' base, so you won't be able to help Dario and Incantis with this fight.
I had no idea...Ok. Our group should just hold then if we're off time until we're caught up. It wouldn't make sense for us to start wandering off and it seems like the next place we'd be is where they are (or certainly within earshot of a battle). Best of luck to our scouts [salutes] :)

Well, look at that! Who could’ve left that there? And why I wonder...

Is there any sign of them, Scup? How far in could they have gone?
