The sections of fence collapse like dominoes. Strix awakens to a tuneless whistling, finding himself sitting up, blowing into what looks like an orc's leg. Before he can react he's already speaking.
"Two of you may leave, but as for the third.... I want his bones! Now unhand the sot before I turn the the three of you into a ******* orchestr... Oh great you woke the oaf."
Strix looks around for a weapon. There are a surprising amount of bone clubs and daggers of varying quality on his dresser, among chisels, saws and dust piles. Where has he been and what has he been doing? That can wait. He addresses the interlopers.
"Please...." He starts as the bones of his face crack and flow. (Bonus action : shift)
Strix, you finish speaking just as Dekhan pushes the door to the room with more force than he expected, and it slams open with a loud bang. The three of you are standing in the room, with Varinth still on his bed and the rather startled three 'messengers' crowded around the bed still attempting to grapple and restrain him. Strix, please make an Intimidation check, with advantage given how badly this has suddenly gone from their point of view, and also shifter.
Hey now, says the leader, putting up his hands, no need to get violent here. We're just taking the young master back to his family. No-one's getting hurt.
The other two continue to try to hold and and gag Varinth.
Dekhan, the leader smirks. You even know how to hold that thing properly? He points at the longsword in your hand, a much deadlier weapon than his own plain shortsword. (Corrected)
These guys are clearly less experienced and less skilled than any of you, but they are too stupid, and in the leader's case too arrogant, to realise it.
Dek looks at the one who mentioned the bugbear. That bugbear you saw, the one your leader here was too foolish to believe you about? The man you’re holding reduced him to cinders. Strix and I did for his two bugbear friends. Ask yourselves, if we did for them, what will we do to you? No doubt our friends are roused and on their way. Choose carefully now, live or die? Dekhan raises Talon and points it at the three men as his eyes begin to glow a dark slate blue.
Back at the party that night...Scupper will of course offer to teach Pru some moves...

Leave the party? Aye, sure...we could go to the Sleeping Giant...probably not as fun without trying to pull one on a bunch o' Redbrands but I'm pretty sure Gristla owes me a few drinks...I haven't been to the inn much as I'm staying at the old Redbrand hideout now...why let it rot? Right? The lads probably got all the good wine from there...Vaz can smell a good wine at 40 yards...course the Bugbears... probably had some kind o' booze...and the there was a card game on the table afore we killed all the Redbrands...been curious who would've won that...
Scupper is less used a "non-transactional romance" that was part and parcel of the pirate life.
Scupper will lead her to the hideout...by now I'd say hedh have put a couple few crates in the pit to make stairs down and back out...through the storeroom, past the crevasse (does he see Blinkie) and on a quick tour of Redbrand, Bugbear and wizard quarters, drinking wine, making merry and being socially awkward and confused for the first time in a long while.

Varinth, you're not able to resist being grabbed and restrained, though you make some loud noises against your kidnapper's hand.
Strix, you attack the lead kidnapper, and he doesn't even manage to get his weapon drawn in time to defend himself. Your bone knife goes into his shoulder and he screams from shock. As you pull it out, he clutches the wound instinctively, and then puts his hands, covered in blood, into the air. Stop, shit! Stop! We don't want to fight. Let him go, he shouts at the other two.
His two follows release Varinth, and similarly put their hands in the air away from their weapons. Varinth, you are now able to move and speak.
