Thanks, NB! Talon is magical in its plus onedness, silvered weapons are a solid idea... would just Strix, Scup, and Zoria need them? Would someone in town cut us a deal due to our newfound fame? If they have the capability, that is.
Incantis watches mutely as his elven friend says his goodbyes, mulling. He likes Dario, the ranger was welcoming to Incantis, the warlock enjoyed their scouting mission together, and if he remembers correctly, he was the first party member Incantis sang for. He is sad to see his companion go. All the same, he nods sagely when Dario mentions his vague call to the east. "When the stars call water to flow my friend, not even the strongest of mortal currents can resist their heavenly pull. Panta rhei..."He touches Dario's mind one last time, performing a farewell hymn that only the ranger can hear, and uses his first bardic inspiration, finishing with, "Go, with stars' blessings."
When the party discusses the Rockseekers and the Black Spider, Incantis regards Zoria and Scupper cooly. "Do I think this Black Spider has spies in Phandalin? I wouldn't be surprised if all of Neverwinter was in it's web."
To Dekhan, "I am intrigues as well as you about this banshee, what else did Sister Garaele say about this creature?"Incantis looks at the paladin with a respectfully appraising 'something's changed about you too, hasn't it' look.
There was something about the Banshee having a spellbook if I remember correctly?

While I think magic/silvered weapons would be a great idea, I'm not sure Zoria would fork over the amount of gold to do that lol but I do think it's a good idea for at least one more person besides Dekhan to silver something, since he's magical.
Ok then Sirs, gunna go get ready. Shall we meet on the green in an hour?
Varinth finishes his mead and heads over to Freda's to check out her handiwork. He will then get Soodi all set for travel and get some provisions from Trildon, since we no longer have our hunter (Cheese and breads and the like).
He will then hang out on the green with Soodi sunbaking
OOC: Just realized Soodi was back with us lol Zoria hasn't met her yet.
"Oh, a camel?" Zoria's eyes perk up. "I have never seen a camel before! Such an interesting and majestic creature! This must be the feeling that people get when they first see me!" Zoria kneels down and begins bowing. "Oh, what a rare and incredible creature. I am humbled to be in your presence!"
Scupper will suggest they figure out the locations of the quests and also suggest that some of that may have more information on the mine...a banshee might have seen the brothers, the graveyard might be old enough to have a clue, etc
Varinth, you manage to acquire provisions easily (you can record them in your character sheet as standard rations, but they can take the form of bread and cheese if you like). Soodi eyes you as you approach, but does not object to you resting near her. What kind of jacket are you asking Freda to make?
Zoria, Soodi ignores you completely - as you have ignored her for the last ten days - and walks away.
You haven't actually noticed a blacksmith (who could silver your weapons) in town, though you could ask around.
Strix, you are able to turn your head around more than the average human, and any observers will be mildly unsettled at the sight. There is no response from Linene Graywind when you bang on the door of Lionhead Coster; she has moved the boxes outside and has made no attempt to investigate or recover their contents.
When the companions are assembled I spoke with Sister Garaele, she didn’t know of the mine, but she did give me more detailed instructions on how to find the banshee. we need to head east along the Triboar Trail for two days to the ruined town of Conyberry, then cut northwest into the Neverwinter Wood. This ruined town may hold some clue to the mine as wel...
Then it's settled, let's find out more about these other two jobs and get back to work. I can feel meself slippin' into an easy town life and I'm not going without a fight haha.
Strix heads out to the green and finds some shade to sit in over by the trees, where he can look along the road past Linene's shop front, to wait for the gang. He rolls his hood up to sit on top of his head so he can be recognized and tries to find some kind of peace but they're sitting right there on the roadside! People like stuff, stuff comes in boxes, why is she refusing stuff that's already hers? It's got lions on it! There is no succour to be found in contemplating a question more practically answered. Eventually he gives in and goes to have a look inside the nearest bag or box.
Varinth, you requested the jacket several days ago, and it's ready today. It's a rather spiffy jerkin, and the flame are beautiful, seeming to flicker and move as you turn the jerkin in your hand. It's really good work. Freda asks three gold pieces for it.
Strix, the nearest box is sealed tightly shut. Do you have a crowbar or other means to open it?
Strix's eyes light up. He grabs the cloth and runs two steps the stumbles back, trying to fish a couple of silver pieces out as a deposit to leave atop the open chest, then runs again back to the green shouting "Vaz! Fire cloth! Vaaaz!"
If amenable he'll drag his rummy chum over to Linene's to look for some complimentary red cloth in the other boxes, returning the original bolt and retrieving his deposit.
Since Vaz is just hanging about waiting for the rest of The Crazy Gang he is quite amenable to a bit of light pilfering. He will hold different colored cloths up to his body and do a swirl, and perhaps an occasional strut. Try on things that are not hats like they are hats. He may even start an impromptu puppet show with cobbled together items. That kind of thing.
Scupper will try to talk to the people involved and get a basic map of where the banshee, undead, and orc troubles are.
It occurs to him that orcs and undead are probably a more immediate threat to the town or travelers than bargaining with a banshee but hopefully we'll be able to achieve all three in a reasonable time frame.

OOC: LOL can we retcon that then to when they first met lmao the fact that I and Zoria both didn't notice Soodi during this time is funny though lol

Dekhan laughs you’ve got the right of it, Scup! Let’s go out and earn our keep!

Varinth was just after a sleeved jerkin made from canvas cotton with embroidered flames to match his pants.

Do you want to go and talk to someone? Or are you heading out?
Strix does indeed have a crowbar. Balaclava back on, let's do this proper!

Strix, you open the box and peer inside. It's yellow cloth, not particularly expensive, but in good condition.
