Waterdeep: Camel Heist (2020)

Dekhan will move up to I7 and launch a javelin at the remaining orc. Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Scupper will take advantage of the situation and sneak attack the remaining orc.

Feckin bollocking orc raiders. Less sense than a rock.

Attack: 16 Damage: 9 sneak attack damage 2

Both Scupper and Dekhan's attacks hit, but the orc is still up, though severely wounded.

Zoria is up.

 Incantis snaps out of his eldritch daze, the whisperings of the corpse star calling his focus back to bear. His eyes bright with delight at his smote foe, the half-elf warlock darts behind the tree in I17 and contacts Dekhan's mind.

"You've been blessed with nature, holy friend; now bring your talon forth to slash and rend!"

He gives Dekhan a Bardic Inspiration.

Zoria will charge the orc and make a warhammer attack.

Attack: 11 Damage: 11

Zoria's attack misses, the warhammer connecting with air as the orc dodges suddenly to the right.

Round Three

Group A:  Orc 1 and Orc 2 (dead)

Group B:  Orc 3 (engaged with Strix and Zoria) and Orc 4 (dead)

Group C:  Vaz, Strix and Incantis (in any order)

Group D:  Dekhan, Scupper and Zoria (in any order)

Group A is dead, Group B is up.

The remaining Orc can see that he is alone, but the bloodlust is still strong and he attacks the centaur that has just charged him:

Attack: 6 Damage: 8

He misjudges her size and the attack does not even come close to connecting.

Group C is up:  Vaz, Strix and Incantis (in any order)

Strix spear attack 14 for 9 dmg, bonus unarmed 14 for 6

Non-lethal in both cases, if downed Strix will slap on the manacles.

Oooof!

Thud.

Click.

You now have one unconscious and manacled orc, plus three dead ones.  Combat is over.

Feckin hells that last one had some stubborn ideas about losin'. I'm guessing we tink this isn't the whole lot o' them? Or we tink him useful in other ways? Strix, ye haven't fallen in love with this one too? The rat catchers in Neverwinter won't take'm in.

Dekhan retrieves his javelins and joins the group around the unconscious orc. Shall we wake him, see what he has to say?

"Weren't they just waiting to ambush someone? I doubt they have anything valuable that will come from their mouths." Zoria wiggles her fingers together. "Now their pockets on the other hand." Zoria will search their pockets, throwing anything that isn't gold or jewels on the ground beside them.

Zoria, you find 37 copper pieces only.  It's a measly sum, even for a group of orcs.

 Zoria tightly grips the coins in her hands. "If I had higher standards I wouldn't even take these measly coins!" She hands the coins to Strix. Will you add this to our cache for now? I assume once we finish this banshee and whatnot, we will divide it up then?"

He checks the sun's position in the sky, and grins.

"Plenty day left tho!"

Varinth will disembark from Soodi and proceed to put out any spot fires he created. Vaz will have a quick search of his two orcs for any written orders Investigation : 18 .He will keep the two dead orcs burning. He will ask Dekhan to help him drag the the other dead orc over to his makeshift pyre. (He will do this after they have been picked of anything useful, obviously) 

Varinth, you don't find anything written or otherwise useful on the orcs.  They had their weapons, and some rations that you don't think you could digest.

Dekhan will help Vaz drag the bodies to the pyre. Your path has ended in this life. May you find a kinder God then One-Eye in the next.
