Scupper, you cast Control Flames on the sconce between the two curtains, and you pull the flame towards the curtain nearer to the monster. The curtains are dry and dusty, and catch fire easily. Too easily perhaps - you suspect they won't burn long.
Unless you have a bonus action or wish to move, that's your turn. (Unless you want to change your mind, which is also fine.)

Vaz will poke his head around the corner to see the backside of something that can't possibly have a better front side. Knowing Scupper is on the other side, Varinth launches a Burning Hands in hopes of drawing it's attention and that it's bulk will shield Scupper from the flames. 11

Fire rushes from your hands and engulfs the creature, narrowly missing Scupper and one of the goblins. You see flames run up and down its tentacles, which flail in evident agony at the heat; the beaked mouth opens and an awful screech, lower in pitch than you might expect, comes from it, almost seeming to shake the room. One of the goblins cries out in anger. The creature seems badly hurt, though nowhere near going down.
B: Sildar
Sildar draws his longbow and shoot as single arrow at the creature, from the back of the group:
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
The arrow hits, but the creature seems unconcerned at the wound.

Seeing Scupper isolated and Dekhan lined up to engage, Strix leaps onto the barrels behind him, throwing his spear (15 for 5) then returns to where he was (interaction) grabbing the feathered staff off the back of Varinth's pack as he goes. He barely notices that he shifted (bonus) as he went.

Dekhan draws Talon and continues the motion into a lateral swing at the creature Attack: 9 Damage: 9 ((I think have advantage since Scupper is on the other flank...)) Attack: 15 Damage: 10 ((If that’s a hit divine smite)) 9

Dekhan, as Strix's thrown spear goes wide and clatters loudly to the floor, your sword cuts through the creature's worm body. At first it seems to resist much of the damage, your sword struggling to cut through its flesh. But then, you draw upon the power of the ancients, your sword shines with holy light and slices the beast in two. It falls dead to the ground.
Incantis steps past Dekhan and aims an Eldritch Blast at Goblin 3, Attack: 16 Damage: 6, injuring him but not fatally. He then steps back to his original location.
D: Goblins 1, 2 and 3.
You hear a cry of anguish and regret from Goblin 3 as its pet is destroyed. He points at Dekhan, slayer of the creature, and screams something in the goblin language. All three goblins shoot their arrows at the paladin:
Dekhan stands defiant in his faith as the arrows fly around him. His eyes blaze with blue green flames as he levels Talon at the goblins Throw down your weapons and keep your lives or oppose us and perish, choose now!

Feckin wee dry shites. You're only making it worse fer yerselves. You could ask yer hobgoblin friends in the room back there...if they weren't all smoking corpses.
Seeing as we don't appear to be killing anyone this round, Strix runs into the room and to the left, preparing to *Dodge* any incoming fire and letting his awesome martial arts pose do the intimidating for him. Because he's really bad at it. As he strikes a form with the staff he stole from Varinth, he flashes the sorcerer a "gives back, pomiss!" wink.

Come ooooonnnnn INITIATIVE 8
Are all candles, wall sconces, braziers out? Only light source is the window?
There are two wall sconces lit; only a small amount of light is coming through the arrow slits.
(so the worm is in the doorway between us and Scupper? Is it facing us or him?)

It's in the doorway between Scupper and the rest of the party, facing Scupper, yes.
If a sconce is close to the curtains, I'd like to light it up with control flames while shield spell is ready to hopefully save my ass.
...Am I first?
