No worries, the ghouls were very happy to wait for you. :)
Round One:
Group A: Incantis, Scupper and Dekhan Group B: Ghoul One, Ghoul Two and Ghoul Three Group C: Strix and Varinth
Group A: Incantis, Scupper and Dekhan are up. Dekhan can see all three ghouls from where he is, Scupper can see Ghoul Three, and Incantis doesn't have a direct line of sight on any of them.
Seeing Dekhan open the door, Incantis moves forward. "Foul abominations..."He darts behind Dekhan, placing a hex on ghoul 3, and lets loose an eldritch blast.
Attack: 22 Damage: 11
The hex will curse the ghoul's strength. Incantis moves further south out of his companions' way.
Incantis, you place your hex upon the Ghoul; you see a momentary sag in its movements as it rushes towards you, but no reduction in the ravenous hunger in its eyes. Your blast hits, but does not slow it down. It is coming. At least, it is until Scupper's arrow find its target in one of those hideous eyes; the force is too much for the ghoul, and is crashes down to the ground, its momentum still carrying it a few feet forward. The corpse still twitches on the ground.
If 2 ghouls can attack Dekhan, Strix should be able to stand beside Dekhan and attack the front ghoul
Attack 19 for 5
If he can attack either ghoul from that position, then they can both attack him, in which case aim the bonus at the other guy so I can take a step back without getting opportunity attacked.
(sorry, I thought Dekhan was holding them at the door, which is why I stepped back. Since they're through the door can I undo that step back? That way they either fight Strix / Dekhan or they get a dig in the head for trying to get past)
Varinth is starting to panic. He can't remember the last time he couldn't see. The bits of light that occasionally come from Dekhans stone make the darkness everywhere else somehow more black. The horrific noises coming from the things nightmares are made of is probably not helping. He tries to go help his friends but trips over Scupper. Lying prone in front of Scupper, his breath coming fast, Vaz scrambles to the northeast corner of the hall trying desperately to quell a full on panic attack. He uses Produce Flame to make a small flame in his hand and concentrates on it.
Dekhan plants his feet firmly and pushes back against the ghouls with his shield, he seizes an opportunity to attack and lashes out with Talon at the closest ghouls head Attack: 17 Damage: 4

Dekhan is up.
Dekhan holds his position and prepares to attack the first ghoul to come within range. Gah ((accidentally deleted it, but I rolled a 1😔))
Dekhan readies his attack.
Group B: Ghoul One and Ghoul Two
Ghoul One races through the door, snarling, slavering hungrily, and preparing to attack the first living creature it has seen in many decades.
Dekhan fumbles his attack, almost losing his grip on his sword as the claws come for him in a rapid blur of vicious undeath.
Ghoul One makes a claw attack on Dekhan:
Attack: 16 Damage: 7
The claws bounce off Dekhan's shield, but Ghoul Two is only a split second behind, its horrible talons grasping for Dekhan's flesh:
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Another miss; the paladin stands firm, the bulwark against the undead that his kind has always been.
Group C: Strix and Varinth are up.
If 2 ghouls can attack Dekhan, Strix should be able to stand beside Dekhan and attack the front ghoul
Attack 19 for 5

Bonus Attack 11 for 5
Strix, Shifter Shadow Monk in Lost Mines of Phandelver ¦ Sihegiall Human Soulknife Rogue in In Search of Molly McGuffin
Strix makes two attacks on Ghoul One, both hitting, before he backs away to his original position. Ghoul One looks hurt.

Varinth is up.
((I accidentally deleted it, but I rolled a nat 1 in my last post.))

It does make more sense that Dekhan is holding them, so revised map:
Varinth is starting to panic. He can't remember the last time he couldn't see. The bits of light that occasionally come from Dekhans stone make the darkness everywhere else somehow more black. The horrific noises coming from the things nightmares are made of is probably not helping. He tries to go help his friends but trips over Scupper. Varinth huddles in a corner, desperately clinging to his light in the darkness.

((I don’t know how I rolled a 4 for damage when my modifier is +4...))
(No idea - do you want to roll 1d8+4 again separately in a new post?)
Yes please.
