Given that it's a nat 20, and it takes us out of combat, would you like to describe how Dekhan kills the last remaining bandit captain?
Combat is over. Two scared and wounded bandit archers kneel on the floor at one end of the alley. The houses are burned, the ground a mess of ashes, ice and water from the mage's spell, and blood. Several corpses - all bandits as far as you can tell - litter the street, and you hear shouts from all around, and the sound of running feet.
Varinth limps towards the kneeling bandits, one eye swelling shut as it turns an angry purple. He points a finger at them, a small flame flickering from it's end.
Don't. *******. Move.
Once he is confident that the two are being covered by the others he will turn his attention to putting out any fires still smoldering.
Varinth, the two kneeling bandits are terrified, especially of you. They're skittish, but not moving now. You are able to put out any flames remaining, and there's no danger the rest of the street will erupt in flames again.
You do all get the sense from the cries that people are calling the city guard; you'll likely only have another minute or so with the bandits before the authorities charge in. Is there anything you want to do with this time.
But he won't till his Shift wears off. Which will be in approximately 52-56 seconds - once he's recovered a little bit he'll clean the blood off his face, make his way back to the alley and start pulling the dead together into a neat pile to rifle through the pockets of for identification, valuables and any sundries of interest - unless someone has beaten him to it while he was Owling out.)
Strix, you find a decent haul of gold in the pockets of the two captains and the mage, a total of 68 gold and 110 silver. There's no identification or other possessions you can find. Their weapons are standard, short swords or shortbows, you can take if you wish.
Bandits 3 and 4 are kneeling in the street, waiting to see if any of you will do anything to them.
Dekhan rears back with Talon intending to pummel the man into unconsciousness but his anger over the dead guardsmen and other innocents overwhelms him and his fury surges. He bites back a roar as his pommel crushes into the back of the dazed bandits skull, snapping his neck. He turns to the remaining bandits, his shock and disgust at his lack of self control noted and put away for later digestion. He points Talon at the kneeling bandits. Now is your only chance to keep your miserable lives, who do you work for?
No-one you will ever... one of the bandits begins.
We don't know her name, the other one blurts out. We only just joined up. Gang doesn't even have a name yet, not a proper one. People call her the Red Spider. I never even seen her. Don't know anyone who has. She's a big secret, you know? Has a lot of gold, and pays for...
Varinth, the bandit flinches at your touch, but says nothing more.
Footsteps on the street. Four men and women wearing the uniform of the City Watch are racing towards you. They come to a halt about twenty feet from where you are all standing, and they take in the scene - the dead bandits, the living bandits, and the five of you. The apparent leader is a dwarf woman, a little shorter than most dwarfs and a fast runner. She heads over to the corpse of the mage and prods it with her foot. She turns to face to you. This was the wizard?
Dekhan will kick the recalcitrant bandit in the chest trying to topple him onto his back. Hold your tongue or you'll be holding your guts! Anything this Red Spider could visit on you would seem like a cuddle from your cousin after a barn dance compared to what my friend over there will do to you if we are not satisfied. He looks back at the more loquacious one Pays for what? And where do you meet?
The mages! the bandit splutters out. They're not... she hires them. I don't know where from. They don't... they don't talk to us. They're not in the gang. They're just doing a job and... he sees the City Watch approaching and looks at you. I can tell you where they meet, but only if you get us fair treatment. A spell in prison. Not execution. Okay?
There's a tunnel! he squeaks, seeing the guards getting near. His friend gives him a look of terror and fury, but says nothing. The building opposite the Broken Lance in Darselune Street. The basement. I... Please, he trails off, looking scared.
Dekhan looks at the dwarf woman. Yes, that was the fire mage. He put up quite a fight. Unfortunately we weren’t able to capture him alive. These two however recognized they were in over their heads and threw down their weapons when we commanded them to. He lowers his voice so that only the woman can hear him. If you would allow me to question them for a moment we could have this problem handled for you. I know you’re spread thin and your reach and influence is not what it was here. We can operate without your restrictions, these bandits have crossed us and killed good people we respected. Let us handle this problem for you, save you some paperwork at least.

(I want Strix to stop pursuing Bandit #4.

Dekhan, make an Intimidation check with advantage.

Shut your mouth! the other interrupts.
Varinth gently puts a finger to the interrupting bandits temple.
Shh.
"Red spider? Red? Ha! Make spider rainbow!" Strix chirps as he rifles pockets.

Dekhan looks at the bandit weighing his offer. Agreed.
