((Hey guys!! My partner moved in this weekend & I've been very busy, happily so. I'm back to posting, sorry for the delay. The playing out & positions look good to me!))
Initiative: [I: 16] [Z: 4]
Incantis contacts all party members but Scupper, the halfling being just out of range even with the warlock's wanderer's ring. "Not our original plan, but new objective. Let's save these houses and rout all Burners not worth our interrogation!"
He sees and hears what Dekhan is doing, but is taken in by the deception. He draws a weapon and seems ready to engage, but is looking left and right for the source of the danger.
Strix and Scupper are up. You are about thirty feet up on the roof.
(Since he would not be entirely clear on what the group are going to do next and assuming it looks like this can be done quietly and non-fatally with a jump distance of 11 feet and the gap between roofs being less than that)
Strix leaps across to the roof Scupper is on, and crouches with a dart in one hand and his staff in the other, Ready and waiting for a lead to follow.
(around by the chimney should give him the range to hit Gatter or Man 3 without giving himself away. He'll fire a dart if/when one of the guys on the ground attacks.)
Firing while hidden...that should have been advantage right? 18
Cunning action to hide after the shot 10 Halfling luck 23
Scuppers main concern is the potential for fire. He'll be targeting anyone that tries to set the blaze or using his control flames to put out any fires that start.
Gatter stumbles as an arrow strikes him from nowhere, into his shoulder. He swears loudly, and looks up, but sees nothing and no-one on the roofs of the surrounding buildings. Scupper is well hidden (though I think he would have had to move a little to get a view of Gatter below, so I've adjusted his position on the map).
Lackley runs up from the mouth of the alley. What's going on? Who's... He draws his weapon and readies himself as well, looking around uncertainly.
Dekhan, Varinth and Incantis are up. Strix, was your trigger if one of your allies attacks, or if one of the enemies attacks?
(Thank goodness I had the foresight to say guys on the ground! Not all of us can hide as a BA :D - However I'm still in the corner and my intent was to use my move to leap across to Scupper's rooftop given I can't fight at range for shit, and hang over by the chimney. Is a roll needed?)
Dekhan brings Talon around in a flat swing at Gatter's neck Attack: 14 Damage: 11 (if that hits) Talon's blade is wreathed in blue flame as Dekhan let's the power of the light flow through him Divine Smite lvl 2 13 and then swing again Attack: 8 Damage: 12
Incantis strokes his crystalline amulet and performs the eldritch somatic sigil to insert himself into Lackley's mind, muttering an incantation in Deep Speech. A phantasmal force enters the Burner's mind, attempting to take hold. Should he fail his save, he'll see a 10ft cluster of city watch charging down the alley from the west, complete with bows and spears, in range to charge and attack him next turn.
A fragment of eldritch energy remains in the telepathic aether surrounding the alley, which Incantis hones and redirects toward Dekhan, who hears empowering chants of reinforcement in his head. [Bardic Inspiration]
The gang member doesn't see any images of the city watch; he does, however, see and hear the casting of a spell.
I would say that Strix cannot see any of the gang members from where he is; alternatively, if he had found a spot with a clearer view, he wouldn't be hidden and get advantage. So I'm afraid it's a miss for this turn.
Varinth, he swats aside your clumsy grab like you were a newborn kitten.
Gatter gasps in shock at your attack, and then: Oh.. Oh! Shit! The hair!! It's...
And he makes two attacks against Varinth:
Attack: 23 Damage: 9 Attack: 25 Damage: 7
Both attacks hit.
Man 3 shouts: Leave him, take this one first. You're dead, boy, he shouts at Dekhan as he makes his own attacks against the paladin, scimitars slashing quickly:
Dekhan dances back taking a nominal slash across the legs. ((What type of armor did we put on to pretend were low level burn boys? is it plausible Dek is wearing his breastplate underneath? if not I'll fix my AC.))

Let me know if you're happy with your start positions...
It's good for me. If things go pear shaped, Varinth will concentrate on making sure things don't go Whoomph.

No, that's fine, you leap across and find yourself next to Scupper.
That's two misses for Dekhan, I'm afraid. Gatter looks furious.
Varinth and Incantis are up.

(since our guys on the ground made a move, readied dart attack)
Dart 10 : 6 (piercing) at nearest visible enemy.

Varinth is up.
Varinth is up. :)
Sorry!
Varinth, a little out of ideas since one spark would light up all these peoples houses, runs full pelt at Gatter and attempts to crash tackle him.

One attack hits, slashing across your legs.
Zhudala is up.
