OK, I don't know but Strix might from his time as an bounty hunting gopher - here's what I'm thinking :
1. We gather up oil from the lamps in any rooms we're done with. We fashion a fairly rudimentary booby trap over this door - classic schoolboy prank, leave the door slightly ajar with a container balanced over it full of oil. The opposite door we could try to rig with a trip for the Crossbows in the armoury, positioned across the hall.
2. Stairs between rooms 1 and 2 are already booby trapped - we can light those with a torch easily enough.
3. STrix kicks open the door to 2, makes an "oops" noise and throws in his Spear (presume the door is an interaction, Spear is an attack), then runs up the stairs east, rolling well (naturally) and leaping the caltrops and oil.
Bugbears initially follow STrix, hopefully, where they run into the brick wall that is Dekhan, and get slowed by the caltrops. We hold the corridor, set the oiled caltrops and ballbearings alight with a torch and beat the hell out of the lead guy.
If any of them get cute and try to flank us via room 1, the first bugbear through the door to 1 gets covered in oil. Vaz is waiting with one other person by the opposite door to zap him alight and run - the other person is outside and closes the door as Vaz runs out and arms the crossbow trap. They then hold that corridor if the burning bugbear opens the door, doesn't get killed by the crossbow. I gather Zoria is the fastest of us, so could be in a floating position to shore up either corridor, but I'm guessing she's also pretty tanky so might be better used as something for Vaz to hide behind?
If there's a secret door out of 2 somewhere south of us, we can retreat across the north bridge but just remember that retreating north means using Vaz's archnemesis the Pit corridor to escape.
Also there's a corridor south that Blinky took, god knows where that goes or where he is these days....
Alternative : Anyone with high charisma and a Deception proficiency fancy walking into Rm2 with the staff, dice and coin claiming to be Iarno's new apprentice, and that the first bugbear to best him in a game of chance gets prima nocta with the kids in the cells? Position yourself so that their backs are to the door while they play, then we clobber the feckers wholesale?
After a couple moments of nothing Scupper checks for traps and opens his door...see Strix...'ello lad...meets with the group and listens to Strix's plan.
"Well i don't know about pretending but I do know about intimidating. And if i walk in with yon glass staff and point out that they're unemployed and their boss was bested, there is a chance they give up (slim but there nonetheless). No pay for motivation and someone proven tougher than Blinky. If not, I leave and hide and let them pass me (Icantus could probably throw a simple enough minor illusion of the wall I'm hiding next to to help cover me up)...they run, set off traps, burn, fight, get stabbed in the back, die
Zoria will swipe any and all coins that are left out in the open that she passes by. Not secretively, so anyone in the same room would see this. She's willing to share the coins. Zoria would like to be closer in between both rooms if it's not too late! Seems a little far away for Zoria's taste. She could even be in the empty room gathering coins, if that's cool?
Sorry I was inactive yesterday. I had to take off work yesterday for a wife/baby doctor appointment, and then I had my 3rd of 8 tattoo sessions for my sleeve. I also closed on my house on Wednesday and tried to move everything in, including my 4 dogs and 5 cats (yes, I know lol....) and I still have more stuff to move over. The washing machine wasn't hooked up properly and actually flooded the hallway and the bathroom (on the very first night we moved in) then yesterday we came home and 2 of the dogs and chewed a hole in the floor.......so it's been a very interesting week for me....phew!!! That being said, if I'm inactive at all, I do not mind the group controlling Zoria for things they want her to do specifically, or if Steve controls her. I do not want to hold the game up!
Incantis follows Scupper through the north door of room 1, figuring it's a better position for himself if fighting breaks out. He takes what cover he can behind the table.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zoria, you find 77 copper pieces, 59 silver pieces, 28 electrum pieces, and 13 gold pieces. You also find a pair of gold earrings set with two tiny rubies, worth a total of 30 gold pieces.
I like Strix' plan, with a minor addition - we close the door to room 1 and burst out when they reach the stairs. Vaz lights 'em up, Zoria tanks left, Dekhan tanks right. Incantis blasts from the left, Dario plinks from the right, Strix weaves around the fray.

Zoria saunters over to Strix, "Should these go into your shareable pile, or should I hold onto these?"
I'm down with the plan, just want to get a sense of direction. Is it left as it appears on the map, or left as if you're entering the room?
(confused now. If we're all in room 1, all we've done is cut ourselves off from dekhan, Vaz and Dario who are behind the oiled caltrops but there's no reason for the bugbears to approach them. Advantage bugbears. If Incantis puts a 5x5 illusion in front of the corridor to rm1 so they follow Strix up to Dekhan, then Zoria tanks from that side, surprise attacks abound?)
My idea was this: Strix leaves room 1 and closes the door behind him while Incantis, Scupper, and Zoria hide behind it. Strix opens the door to room 2 and runs up the stairs to the east, prompting the enemies to follow. Once the enemies are on the stairs, Vaz ignites them, Zoria, Incantis , and Scupper open the door from behind them and attack from the west (Zoria point), and Dekhan, Dario, Vaz, and Strix attack from the east (Dekhan point).

Basically Strix bait them onto the stairs -> pronged attack. Team West: Zoria, Scupper, Incantis, Team East: Dekhan, Dario, Vaz, Strix. And I figure if we just close the door to room 1 they'll follow Strix.
Nodding, Strix tiptoes out of Rm1, closes the door gently behind him and creeps down to rm2. He pauses a moment to listen and if all sounds the same he readies his spear and opens the door.
OOC: I do so love my flaming scribbles. I like this plan. Remember Mr Berry that the stairs are coated every second step and I think we showed Master Stryx. We are going to have them trapped on burning stairs.
Strix, you open the door and look inside. This is a barracks; it contains four roughly built wooden bunks, with heaped-up blankets and dirty dishes scattered about. A strong smell of unwashed bodies and rotten meat fills the air. Three tall, furry humanoids are lounging among the mess, barking orders at a sad little goblin that demeans itself for their amusement. It's a good five seconds before they notice you, as one of the bugbears barks an order and the little goblin, obviously exhausted and miserable, starts hopping on one leg as the bugbears laugh.
It's the goblin that notices you first. It stops jumping, stares for a moment, and then appears to faint clean away. The bugbears look up, and seem momentarily confused. One of them jerks onto his feet, but then hesitates, taking in your appearance, including Glasstaff's robes. He's wearing a fancy jewelled eyepatch. He frowns, and says in common: You're new. You with Albrek? The others watch curiously; they don't seem immediately hostile.
OOC: If I don't get a chance to do so once I leave work, Zoria tries her utmost to try and get that eyepatch. So whoever controls her....remember that. The main goal is the eyepatch.
"*Mister* Albrek. 'Spect 'portent! Yes, With Iarno. Old friend. Share tailor. Digress. Send for you! Said villagers need lesson. Late night raid. Get kill men this time. Go meet at manor door! Quick, now. Fore Redbrands have all fun "
He stands back so it's clear they need to go up to the bridge room, ready to backpedal, unleash his spear and leg it if anyone looks askance at him.

I’m a big fan of the plan. Caltropped, immolated, zapped, and stabbed, this day is about to get a lot worse for the bugbears.
Incantis follows Scupper through the north door of room 1, figuring it's a better position for himself if fighting breaks out. He takes what cover he can behind the table.

The stage is set, a cunning trick; we'll light them up on staircase wick.
We'll shoot from front and from the back; pally, cleric, pronged attack.
The monk will weave about the fray; rogue and ranger find your prey.
And wild fire mage and I; will call our craft to blast and fry.
