Incantis' initiative: 10
Round One
A: Varinth B: Hobgoblins 1, 2, 3 and 4. Hobgoblins 2 and 3 are prone, lying on cots. Hobgoblins 1 and 4 are standing. C: Scupper D: Sildar E: Dekhan, Incantis and Strix
Strix bursts in behind Sildar, using the bed just inside the door to launch himself into the air, bringing his staff down on the prone hobgoblin draped across the two cots beside him. "Sloth is sin! Kakreeeee!"
25 for 9 (crit? If so, here's another d8 3
He uses his momentum to vault over Sildars left shoulder, driving his knee at Hobbie 1 before landing at a crouch.
6 for 5
(OOC: stupid question - as my interaction, can I grab the sheet from the cot behind me and hold it up? Technically if they can't see me they attack with disadvantage, and Strix is stupid enough to think that would work)
Strix, your staff stabs the Hobgoblin through the stomach, finding a gap in its rather old and poorly maintained armour and getting three or four inches in before the creature grabs it and pushes it out. It's wounded, but still in the fight. Hobgoblin 1 manages to dodge out of the way of your strike.
The cot doesn't really have a sheet, it's very simple and probably not all that hygienic. Strix could grab the whole cot if he wishes, though that feels like a full action, not a simple interaction with an object.

Pretty cramped in there... Incantis stays put or re-maneuvers as necessary to get a view of the hobgoblin Strix just attacked. He contacts its mind. "What to do with allies vanquished? Come now greenskin show your anguish."

Attack: 18 Damage: 5Feeling inspired Dekhan rushes in with his shield raised and attacks hob 1 bringing Talon around in a deadly arc. Bardic inspiration 5
Dekhan, you've been feeling the frustration of the last fight, of your failure to strike true, again and again. It started to cloud your thoughts, and you felt yourself struggling to achieve your usual focus. The clear, ringing tones of your friend pierce through the fog, and you feel your senses sharpening, your skills coming back to you. You charge in, your shield ready to deflect any incoming attacks from one hobgoblin as your sword bashes into another hobgoblin's armour; the armour holds and your sword does not pierce it, but you can feel its body almost crushed beneath the power of your blow. The hobgoblin loses its balance but steadies itself against a wall, gasping for breath, almost panicking at the sudden attack.
Round Two
A: Varinth B: Hobgoblins 1, 2, and 4. Hobgoblin 2 is still prone. Hobgoblins 1 and 4 are standing. 1 & 2 are both wounded. C: Scupper D: Sildar E: Dekhan, Incantis and Strix
Yes, it was to hit. You use bardic inspiration after you roll the d20, but before the DM says if it hits or not. So I can't say if 19 hit, only that 24 hit.

A: Varinth is up.
Sorry about the delay, did you roll initiative for me? edit ahh yes you did thank you
Incantis starts mutely as the hobgoblins turn their heads.
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
Also I'm still maintaining hex, so let me know when you figure an hour has passed since the start of the first fight.

Whats'happening? Is there someone there? Varinth whispers
Hex is definitely still up. Varinth, you whisper, but take no other action unless you wish to ready something?
B: The hobgoblins are surprised, and take no action or movement this round.
C: Scupper is up.
Vaz will be ready with a Fire Bolt should something unfriendly looking get into his field of view.
Scupper uses a move action to draw his bow and fires an arrow at Hob 4
Attack: 11 Damage: 8 (let me know if this is sneak attack damage 2)
Hobgoblins comin’ through lads! Light ‘em up!
(he’ll then use cunning action to get out of the way moving to the square between Incantus and Strix)
Scupper, your arrow misses, flying out through a gap in the wall into the forest beyond.
D: Sildar
Sildar rushes boldly into the fray, swinging his sword at Hobgoblin 3 as he scrambles to get up:
Attack: 16 Damage: 7
Attack: 22 Damage: 6
His multi-attack is too much for the Hobgoblin, who never manages to stand up; Sildar's sword goes through his heart.
E: Dekhan, Incantis and Strix are up.
Strix bursts in behind Sildar, using the bed just inside the door to launch himself into the air, bringing his staff down on the prone hobgoblin draped across the two cots beside him. "Sloth is sin! Kakreeeee!"

Strix, Shifter Shadow Monk in Lost Mines of Phandelver ¦ Sihegiall Human Soulknife Rogue in In Search of Molly McGuffin

Sorry, internet connection is a yoghurt pot with some string here, edit took a few tries to go through.

Vicious Mockery: DC13 WIS or 3 damage & disadvantage
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
As a bonus action Incantis gives Dakhan bardic inspiration, as the paladin's mind is filled with triumphant and harmonious song.

Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
Incantis, you're able to get a clear sight of the hobgoblin as it lies shocked and injured on its cot.
WIS save: 17
It looks around in alarm, trying to find the source of the words, but doesn't appear to be harmed by your attack.
Dekhan is up, and has bardic inspiration.

So that bardic inspiration was to hit, right? 24 didn't miss did it?
