I wouldn’t say no to some rest. Indeed a standup fight doesn’t seem like it would go in our favor. I will stand with Zaria to draw their attention. I’ll be sure to bring my shield to bear this time. How could we lead them into this trap? Speaking of traps, I have caltrops and ball bearings if we’d care to utilize them.
No clue. Ask new pet, when wakes.
in the absence of other suggestions, Strix starts dragging RB4 after Scupper.
Incantis' eyes snap open, bringing him crashing, in a moment, out of the planes of his meditations and -snap- back to reality. He peers at the owlish man, having spent enough time around him at this point to finally begin to discern the meanings hidden within his hectic speech. "If it's disguise we're after, I say we hold onto the Redbrands' outfits. They could absolutely prove useful, especially if enhanced with any of my illusory magicks. And while I am not harmed, I could use an hour or so to recover my eldritch powers. I could easily stand watch if need be, others need more rest than I." Incantis turns to the centaur, curiously. "I've never met one of your species, though I've heard stories. Call me Incantis, and I hope I don't offend you with my curiosity." He chuckles, a rarity. "I've also never met a divine servant awaiting coin as a requisite for aid; this is a strange land indeed. Stars' Blessings."
As for our plan, are we indeed leaving the town, or is it subterfuge and we are remaining hidden? It seems we were offered a dwelling place in town, do we trust this person?

"I wouldn't mind finding out who comes a looking and what their reaction is, but I wouldn't put anyone in that spot alone unless yer illusions include bein' invisible. Too much of a chance they catch you and then we're both sides interrogatin' the other. Let's leave well enough alone since we're all still livesies and freesies. We can check back at night and make sure they didn't do anything to the town."
"Well, I wouldn't say invisible, no, but I could say, didn't exist in the first place." Incantis winks at Scupper as a minor illusion flickers briefly into existence, appearing as a Redbrand soldier laying unconscious and bleeding out. A subtle flash, and the figure stands, woundless, and waves to a pantomime ally in the distance before quickly fading away.
When Varinth has completed his transaction, How much do I owe you Mr Tolbin?, he will try to run/walk to catch up with the others while clutching his side and carrying his wineskin and little keg.
"I would say ye might be safer as a cat o' a donkey. They'd be less likely to bother witcha...but if ye tink yer tricks will keep ye safe. I'll not be ready to do anything without a long rest... probably start interrogation later tonight...ifn ye don't want to miss te' fun."
"By Loviatar's bloody red backside, am I not making sweet with yer shifty eyed whatsahoozits for draggin' te bodies...meanwise and handlin' the basic cleanin o' te bilge? Incantus, Id likely not drop someone in a jolly boat and leave em to wait for a Sloop o' War nor'd I'd ask you to sneak about til you wanted. And...sorry Vaz but honestly I got me no idea where I'm headin...jest out o town for te time bein and hopefully gettin a drink and a nap."
Vaz, Tolben fills your waterskin (12 cups of wine) and small keg (24 cups of wine) and charges you 6 silver pieces total. Is something going on? Sister Garaele looked very agitated when she was passing by just a moment ago. He looks at Vaz more carefully; Tymora's luck! Are you alright, man? Do you need a healer?
Incantis, your minor illusion spell creates an image that looks rather like a statue of a Redbrand soldier, if such a thing were ever created, but is unlikely to be mistaken for a real person. It also stubbornly refuses to move, and so does not wave.
Scupper, you lead the group out of town. Soodi is dragging the four dead Redbrands, leaving extremely visible tracks in the ground. Strix is dragging the surviving Redbrand. Vaz eventually races to catch up. Incantis, Dario, Dekhan and Zoria are all following close behind.
The path to the south is much less well trodden that the trail you entered the town on, and it seems to wind up into the hills. You would not have been able to bring a cart this way, but Soodi is not troubled so far. After about an hour on the road, you come upon what appears to be a small campsite to the side of the road; it is not occupied, and doesn't appear to be in regular use. There are a few large clumps of trees that would provide shade from the sun; the weather is warm but not too hot. You hear, but don't yet see, the sound of running water. You could stop here, or continue on. Up ahead, the trail becomes narrower and steeper, though you still don't think you'll have trouble following it.
Minor illusion is objects only, not creatures, I'm afraid, and it also is completely still; there are other (higher level) illusion spells that do what you want.

There was a bit of a Scuffle with some Redbrands, Tolben. Here's a gold. I think the Sister had a bit of an argument with someone. I'm fine, I'm fine. Nothing a few glasses of this wonderful wine wont cure. We are headed out of town with the.. losers. Please hide the boy if more of them come to town. We will be back. Oh, and if we are not back by tonight, set the table for as many as you can. Vaz winks.
As he runs to catch up he will shout back to the town in general
We WILL finish what we started!
probably he says under his breath.
When we arrive at the clearing Mind if we rest here gang?
If someone follows the trail we left, they'll find us in an hour. We'll need to go off trail, and dump the bodies (take their shite if we want) then head somewhere to rest. I don't want to be interrupted while we're lickin our wounds...
Ifn you want te incinerate these bodies here, that may confuse our opponents, we can maybe have Dario scout us someplace a bit more off the map te rest.
I don't know man, I'm just throwing out suggestions, I though someone mentioned setting up an ambush and I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity for me to contribute.

Dario walks along with the group, helping Dekhan if he struggles with some of his remaining wounds. When they get to the small clearing he looks around and then listens to Scupper's idea of incinerating their bodies. "what if, now this may be a long shot and time might not be on our side, but we use this site to set up and ambush. Take these dead bodies and try to prop them up around the campsite, have a fire going with some food cooking to see if we can draw some Redbrands over while we wait in ambush for them. Then, when they realize their boys are stiffer than wood we strike them first will a volley of ranged attacks and then move in." He looks around the campsite, then at the pile of dead Redbrand, and then back at the group. "Maybe it's a stupid plan..."
What If I dress in one of their uniforms and we make it look like Zoria and I are locked in combat with a few deadbrands surrounding us, then when they join the battle we pepper them with arrows and take them by surprise? After we rest, of course.

"I don't think any of the Redbrands had shields. If we go with this plan, you will surely need your shield when the jig is up, so you will need it close by. However, I am in full support of an ambush. I want to take as many of these Redbrands out as possible."
