OOC: It's fine. Just wait for the round to move on. It's usually just delay your move until its your turn.
Motivated by their allies arrival, Beetle and Brots both make direct hits at the Redbrand closing in on the gnome. The first blow, an arrow fired by Brots, stikes home into the stomach of his attacker, knocking him off stride. From the other side of the square, Beetles Eldrich Blast rips through the air, sending onlookers flying aside. As the Redbrand stumbles, the beam of energy hits him squarely in the back, knocking him forwards again with a shock.
OOC: Serak, Syna and Zyltris you are free to move in any order. You're all currently about 30ft from R2 so could reach him with your first melee attack if required.
OOC: R2 and R4 remain in play. R2 is the only one in melee range for the other three. They can move in whatever order they post in, saves waiting for your turn.
Zyltris’ swing is devastating. As his Morningstar connects with the Redbrands hood the targets skull erupts. The cloaked mans legs buckle as he collapses dead onto the floor.
OOC: With R2 dealt with. R4 is the only Redbrand remaining.
Syna and Serak, either of you two can move next. R4 is about 60ft away, (ignore the map scale)
Serak: Quickly losing hope that the Redbrand predicament can be resolved without violence, Serak shouts at the remaining mercenary, "Surrender, sir! There is no reason for any further bloodshed!"
Persuasion: 9
Reaction - Delay Action - Trigger: If thr Redbrand attempts to attack or flee, Serak will fire at him.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing his friends fall easily to their enemies, the remaining redcloak suddenly looks very nervous. He yells out in response to Serak, "I'll never surrender to half breed scum! This town is ours!" Serak raises his crossbow, ready to fire at a moments notice.
A cold wave ripples across the square. The grubby red cloak of the redbrand turns an icy white as his body crispens with the cold. (Disadvantage on next attack roll)
With the situation looking desperate, the redbrand turns to flee the square towards the main street leading to the east side of town. Disengaging with Brots, he runs, stumbling slightly, weakened from his injuries.
Seeing the Redbrand retreat, Serak fires his crossbow to stop his run.
Serak Attack Roll:19
The crossbow bolt shrieks across the square towards the Redbrand. As the red cloaked man stumbles the bolt flies behind him, missing its mark.
OOC: Fixed the positioning again and made the scale a bit easier to work with. 20ft per square. Initiative continues in post order, seems to work pretty well
I want to run and try to grapple him...not sure what roll to make though and if there are bonuses or not...if that’s not possible cause he is to far i will cast Eldritch Blast cause I’m not letting him get away
OOC: So grappling requires a strength check vs the targets Strength or Dexterity check (Targets choice). Can't see any bonuses, and you would just about be in range.
Beetle charges forwards, sheathing his sword and reaching out for the fleeing redbrand with both arms outstretched. The red cloak clumsily tries to duck away but doesn't manage so much as a slight dip before the bulldozing force of the paladin smashes into his side.
"Gerrof me, you brutish bugger!" The redbrand struggles in vain, but he is easily caught.
OOC: The redbrands speed becomes zero until he escapes with a strength (athletics) or dexterity (acrobatics) check against Beetles Strength (Athletics). Actually Beetles first roll should have been Strength (Athletics) which would have been +4 instead of +2, but doesnt look like it would matter!
Beetle, rolling around with the Redbrand calls out, "Little help over here, some one bring some rope." Beetle also says to the Redbrand, "What happened to your friends? Did this Tin Can and his little friend get the best of you?"
OOC: Your speed is slower than the Redbrand so you wouldn’t make it to their position in this round. You could head that direction but it’ll be next round before you can help.
you can try and make a non lethal arrow attack but as Beetles grapple would give the Redbrand something like 3/4 cover it’ll be a small target.
Brots will look toward pops and shout over. "Pops, hold him still, I'll get my rope!" Brots then moves over to his backpack that he had previously tossed near the child in the townsquare.
[I will use my move to get to my backpack that I tossed to the child.]

While rolling around on the ground Beetle tries to intimidate/persuade the Redbrand to give up and live...
intimidate : 6
