[OOC: I may be wrong, but luck works on Death Saves and Brots hasn't failed one yet besides. He's just napping over there while we bleed out. Halflings. lol
Edit: If we search both eastern corridors first this time, then use the same approach and watch for the flank, we will be good. We will almost certainly level up after this fight and everyone gains all sorts of goodies.]
OOC: I just checked my character. I am carrying a healing potion still having not used this yet. I also have my 2 hit die for short rest regain and Second Wind lets me heal 1d10+2 on a short rest. Since I'm running around with a shield I get a +2 to AC so healing is not as big for me with an AC of 18 currently. I also may have been shorting myself on attacks. I chose Dueling, which says I get a +2 when wielding a weapon in only one hand. If I understand attacks correctly I get a +2 from my strength modifier and a +2 for being proficient, which is where the +4 had been coming from on my attacks and damage. However, it looks like I should have been taking a +6. Can anyone clarify this?
OOC: for attack you get your proficiency bonus (if your proficient with the weapon your using) plus your strength modifier... For damage you get your strength modifier plus 2 from dueling
***Proficiency bonus doesn't effect damage only attack....and dueling only effects damage and not attack
OOC: Looks like the +2 gets added to your damage rolls. Your Attack rolls are correct - D20 + Proficiency + Strength/Dexterity Your damage rolls are normally D20 + Strength/Dexterity but you get an additional +2 for dueling one handed. Proficiency doesnt get added to damage rolls.
[OOC: Duelling increases damage only, by +2. So you'd have +4 To-hit/+4 Damage I believe.
Edit: Beetle Wins! lol
So apparently this guy is still alive. lol So if someone gives Serak a potion this round, he's good. Attacks on the sleeping two are Advantage/Auto-Critical Hit.
OOC: I think I am up but going to wait for an update cause I'm not sure who is up,down, dead, alive....lol...i think there are 1 sleeping bugbear and 1 sleeping redbrand, not sure if any others, and I think the whole party is up now but not 100% sure, there may also be 1 other redbrand still awake but....not sure
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Zyltris, I think passing a potion to another would be an action? Happy to be corrected though. I'll update in a sec Beetle.
With a nod of thanks to Beetle, Syna rises to his feet. Stepping away over Seraks motionless body, the druid approaches Brots. Suddenly a the shortsword of the drunken redbrand swipes out at him.
Redbrand 2 Opportunity Attack: 6
With the attack missing, Syna makes it across to the gnome and feeds him his own Potion of Healing.

Beetle hoping to get rid of the only awake Redbrand turns towards R2 points his sword at him and casts Eldritch blast
Attack: 16 Damage: 7
1st bad roll in a while and when we really needed it, knew i should have mentioned Tyr...lol...see what I get for leaving him out, but figured it might not be appropiate invoking Tyr while using a Hexblade patron power...
OOC: I think Zyltris meant use his healing potion on Serak, Zyltis should have 1 to use I think, Serak wouldn't be able to use it anyhow someone would need to use it on him
OOC: Yes, my thought was to use the healing potion on Serak to revive him. That also puts me in position to be between or near him and R2 to help defend/attack as needed. I really only need to move up 1 square so I'm also in position to use an attack of opportunity if R2 moves as well as am ready for B1.

OOC: Ok, that's what I thought and how I had been doing it but wanted to clarify. Glad to know I didn't cost us hits :)
OOC: No problem, no stupid questions here. It'll all balance out anyway in the end!
Synas revived now so I take it he gets an attack this round?
[OOC: Yeah, I believe Syna can act immediately. Just needs to stand up from prone.]
"Not all those who wander are lost." - J.R.R. Tolkien
OOC: Standing just takes movement right so he can still take an action?
OOC: Yeah standing takes half of your movement speed. So he could still take an action - attack or heal or whatever and then move if he wanted to
Zyltris is going to try to get his healing potion to Serak this round. Can he do that as a bonus?
Syna nods his thanks, and immediately goes to heal Brots with a dose of his potion.
