"Lets go to the secret door in the south east that you already found and check that area out." Beetle says, "Then after if it goes nowhere we can head back to the northeast supply room and see if there was anything secret there...figure se 1st since we definitly know there is a door there.."
OOC: Let's wait for Brownbeard to resolve the rest. We might have been discovered. One empty bed in the Bugbear room, unless it belonged to the one we killed with the goblins.
Anyway, if there is another secret door in the supply room, Serak will attempt to jam it with a wedge-shaped stone. He'll also jam any other doors in this area before the party leaves the area. No one is coming up behind us or getting away this time.

The party leaves the northern common room and make their way southwards back to the barracks, redbrand captives in tow. With the two redbrands piled up on top of each other in a corner, the others settle in for a short rest. Beetle sits on the bed closest to the door, longsword easily reachable in a moments notice. Serak sits at the far end of the room, his dulcid tones spread softly through the room easing the tensions of his allies.
Outside in the corridor, the muffled piping of the bards flute can barely be heard. A small mangy rat running along the passage, stops and sits for a moment, taking in the peaceful melody, before running off in search of food. The well hidden bodies of the days earlier battles sit still in quiet in the crevasse. The cool chamber air remains still.
For an hour, the party remains undisturbed. The drunken redbrands remain silent and still in the corner. Only breaking the tension with a single short acidic burp as they slept. The party, fully refreshed, begins planning their next move.
OOC: Did you guys decide which way you’re going next? Couldn’t work out whether you’d decided SE or NE first lol

Serak: Listening at the door to make sure the hall is clear, Serak moves in formation with the others to the supply room. He searches the supplies for anything of value, also looking for hidden doors and traps.

Serak leads the group out of the barracks room, along the corridor and through the crevasse towards the supply room. The chamber is still as cold and rancid as they remember. In the crevasse below the the dead stare up at them with empty eyes. Trying his best not to look, Brots catches the eye of the sleeping redbrand he had killed earlier. He glances quickly away but is filled with a battling sense of guilt and pride.
Arriving at the store room, Serak takes cover beside the roughly cut entrance. Glancing around the corner he observes the room before him. The room appears to have originally been part of the natural cavern to the south, but has been finished with flagstone paving and walled with stone blocks. As earlier, along the far wall sits a row of crates and barrels, stuffed full with straw ready for packing. Beside them a number of various tools - crowbars, hammers and nails for sealing and opening crates. In the far corner a shallow recession in the wall. The room remains clear of activity.
Stepping inside, Serak runs his hands along the barrels nestled in the near eastern corner. The mangy rat, who is still apparently scavenging for food, darts out from behind a barrel and flees to safety with a loud squeak. He darts towards a narrow crack running parallel to the floor in the western wall of the room. In a moment he squeezes under it and disappears. Checking the crack carefully, Serak makes out the shape of a doorway. Pressing against it slightly he is disappointed to find that it doesn't move at all.
Beetle moves across the room checking the crates and barrels stacked along the far wall. One particular barrel is stuffed with new shining steel shortswords. The neighbouring crate full of shields, freshly made, ready for new recruits. Checking the walls carefully, the cold breeze leads him towards the cavity in the corner of the room. Following a long narrow crack along the wall, the paladin discovers the outline of a door, neatly hidden in the alcove. Giving the door a gently push, Beetle notices that it swings freely on its hinges, leading to another passageway.

Zyltris is going to investigate the shields and short swords to see if he can find anything that seems better than what he is carrying. Investigation: 3
Taking a shortsword in hand, Zyltris slashes at the air. The blade is light, sharp and well balanced, but feels awkward in the elf’s hand. Deciding that he would deal more damage with his reliable Morningstar, he slides the sword back into the stuffed barrel.
Glancing at the shields, Zyltris finds they’re similar to his own. He carefully places his trusted dented shield down and grabs a newer version - steel still gleaming and smooth.
Serak: Serak attempts to jam the hidden door and says, "This one is likely for moving supplies. The southeastern door is at the end of a long empty corridor. Likely an exit from somewhere. Let us continue there."

OOC: Just clarify which of the doors you’re jamming. Theres two in the storeroom, one which Beetle found in the alcove, One in the western wall that Serak couldn’t push open.
Serak rams a wedge shaped rock under the door. 15. Pressing against it he is happy that nothing will be able to get through with the doorstop in place.
Heading south once more the party cross the chamber, the gaping crevasse on their right. Squeezing through the tight space between the wall and the stone column and then passing the ruined southern bridge, they eventually reach the long empty corridor.
Once more Beetle takes point, moving as quietly as his steel armour will allow. Within a few feet they arrive at the dead end. While Serak and Beetle run their hands around the wall, Zyltris and Brots cast doubtful looks at each other, dubious about a door they cannot see.
Then, a crack emerges revealing the clear outline of a door. Slowly pushing it forward, Beetle glances inside and sees a standard storage cellar, exactly the type expected below a large manor.
The door opens onto a wide stone cellar, dominated by a large stone cistern on the western wall. A set of slightly rusting iron pipes run upwards feeding the pool with water from the manor above. The cisterns pool descends below the floor by about 8feet, surrounded by a wall that rises 2 feet above the floor. The water is clean, fresh and cool. The cistern clean.
Climbing up the far eastern wall, two short flights of stairs ascending to a set of narrow landings. At the top of the stairs, a single door. Beneath the northern steps, a second door exits the room to the north.
Dotted around the room, various barrels and crates full of supplies. A third and final door sits in the north west corner of the room, at the opposite side of the cistern. No evidence of a Redbrand hideout is obvious.

"Quite a few doors in this place." Beetle notices..."Be careful lets check this room for traps and such then we can pick a door...NW, N, or NE....quite a few choices.."

Brots, nervously opens the door in the NW side of the room. Shaking and thinking to himself "Please be empty, please be empty, please be empty." as he peaks in, hoping to see something before that something see's him first.
Beetle carefully creeps around the room, searching for anything of use. The cistern takes up most of the floor in the western half of the room. Following the lip of the basin around towards the other side. The barrels he passes each contain supplies and provisions - salted pork and beef, flour, sugar, apples, and ale. Enough to feed a large family for many months. The double staircase to the east of the room leads upwards about 15 feet to the eastern doorway, broken in half by a narrow landing. Along the opposite wall, another set of barrels, again filled with a variety of provisions. The cellar show no obvious signs of any redbrand activity.
Investigating the pool of water Zyltris stares into its watery depth. The clear water ripples away quietly from the iron pipes descending from the ceiling. The basin itself is clean, no signs of any mould or damp anywhere to be seen. Carefully examining the inside lip of the basin Zyltris notices a short length of rope submerged in the water and tied to a small metal ring on the basin wall. He grabs at it firmly with both hands and pulls the dead weight up to the surface. The water gently splashes as the object breaks the surface tension. Tied to the end of the 2 feet of rope is a waterproof satchel containing a potion of invisibility, a potion of healing, 50gp and a clean set of ordinary travel clothing.
OOC; so we have another healing potion and 1 still in party treasure...I believe Brots has one still so maybe Syna take one and Zyltris take the other and add another 10g each to sheets, the potion of invisibility whoever wants but it might benefit Serak the most when he stealths around.
