"Agreed lets get these people out them come back and get whatever we want to sell for coin..." Beetle answers and begins to head back to collect their captives.
OOC: Assuming nothing happens, we're taking them to Sildar, right? Then we can either come back through the cave and up the stairs, or raid The Sleeping Giant Inn first, before word spreads?

"Not all those who wander are lost." - J.R.R. Tolkien
Making a quick inventory of the sellable items in the armory Syna comes up with twelve spears, four shortswords, two longswords, six light crossbows, and eight quivers holding twenty crossbow bolts each. The rest although seemingly new, have signs of wear and tear - possibly stolen from a miltary cache at some point, but largely unsellable regardless.
Breaking through into the northern storeroom once more, Serak makes a quick check of the barrels along the north wall - another barrel of swords (2 shortswords and 2 long only seem to be of any value) and a small crate stuffed full with 30 beaver pelts. The crate is stamped with a sigil of a green dragon - possibly from another trader in the area who's caravan has been robbed. Other goods in the storeroom aren't of any real value, but offer the opportunity for the party to replenish their supplies.
OOC: Just so I am clear here, who is going where. You have two redbrand drunks in the South West barracks. Three freed prisoners. And the Wizard to leave with. Are you splitting up or gathering everybody into a larger group?
OOC: I assume we'd all go together. Pick up Iarno first and then the other two on the way out. Drop off the family and then see Sildar with our prisoners. I'd like to clear any Redbrands at The Sleeping Giant after that if everyone agrees.

Yes I figured we were staying together as a group, picking yup the captives and getting out, and yes if there are more Redbrands we need to clear them out as well after.
Picking a route southwards, the party make their way through the vast crevasse chamber. The chilling nightly breeze blows softly through the tunneled entrance, sending shivers through the party. Squeezing single file between the stone column and the cave wall, Beetle leads the way. Suddenly a prisoner screams, filling the cavern with a shrill echo. "FATHER! OH FATHER WHAT HAVE THEY DONE?!" Nilsa spots her father lying at the bottom of the crevasse amongst the jagged rocks, bloodied and slightly chewed. She rushes forward, sliding down the steep cliff side closely followed by her brother. The pair, crouched beside Thels body, paw at the mans face lovingly. Looking on weakly, their mother turns to the party, "Please sirs... I must ask of you one more thing. Will you please help to bring my dead Thel home with us?"
Brots, seeing the look on their faces can not say no to them. "Sure, however I do not think I am strong enough to carry him myself. Would someone like to help me?" He moves down to the body and looks it over.
Syna silently moves forward to help pick up the dead. "Let us see to these people. Though I am still of a mind to burn this nest as we leave. Those rooms will all of the stores would keep them busy for some time. And may make it seem we have gone for good. Else by the time we return, we may need to fight our way through again."
Making his way to the southern end of the crevasse, Brots gathers as many long undamaged boards of wood from the bridge debris as he can. With Beetles help the pair bind a few planks together to make a makeshift stretcher. Rolling Thel onto it, Syna and Beetle lift the man up out of the crevasse and carry him along the far side to rest beside the tunnels entrance. Nars, Nilsa and their mother follow the precession. The boy declares his intention to watch over his father until the others return. Handing him a shortsword in case, Beetle and Syna regroup with the others on the eastern edge of the crevasse.
Ambling down the twisting southern corridor back to the cistern, a brooding silence has fallen over the party. The night wears on and a tiredness has fallen over them. The faint trickle of water welcomes them back into the room. All is as it was left. Eager to approach the barred door, Serak immediately notices a long deep vertical crack has appeared on its wooden surface threatening to split it in two. While the stone wedge remains in place, the door is barely standing.
Beetle draws his sword and carefully kicks away the stone wedge and opens the door. The broken wood creaking loudly as it swings open. The room before him is empty and quiet, a set of rope bondings lie in the middle of the floor. Suddenly the door stops mid swing and a familiar voice cries out in pain, "Ah! Careful you fool!" Peering behind the door, the paladin sees the shape of a broken wizard. His shoulder, badly misshapen and out of place. Letting out a little chuckle, Beetle realises what has happened. The wizard, breaking free of his bindings, tried to his luck in forcing the door open and thusly broke his shoulder.
Though Syna has the knowledge to ease the wizard's pain, he looks on with contempt. Anyone who would alley themselves with these Redbrands deserves a painful fate.

Sounds good to me

I don't have a signature.
"I will help Brots." Beetle says as he moves to the body and help carry it out.

Zyltris will ready himself for battle, concerned that the damage to the door means intruders are present.
Beetle will approach the door cautiously and slowly open in to see what is going on, careful though incase Iarno has gotten loose...
OCC: Did I find a suitable dagger before?
Syna transfers his staff to his offhand, and draws his scimitar.
