"Have you happened to hear word of any possible campsites nearby? Like, campfires in places you wouldn't normally expect them orrr maybe campfires in places where you do. Or any new tents popping up in the area... You guys go out a lot don't ya? You've gotta have been able to see or hear something wouldn't ya."
"Well sure, I was telling your friends that those Tiefling folk are camped about a half day east of here. Said they were paying good coin for information on any more fancy folk coming through"
About this time you hear a door close from one of the houses next to Dippis and see a thin, elderly man with a crutch come hobling over. Dippi seeing him and has a cup ready for him by the time he arrives. He completely ignores the party and says to Dippi "More strangers huh? They stirring up trouble too?" Dippi shrugs. " Not as far as I know. They been asking about them Teiflings"
So what are you guys doing? You want to settle down here and help Dippi with his brewing? Which does definitely need help. It's some of the worst ale you've ever had.
So after finishing your final drinks you all depart Dippis and continue heading east in search of the Tiefling camp.
You guys travel for a few hours and the sun starts to go down. As it dips below the horizon you crest the top of a hill. Looking on to the East you can see the smoke from a campfire rising between the next two hills.
You continue making your way towards the smoke until you get close enough to see the camp. It's getting dark now but you see 3 figures around a campfire. There's something roasting on a spit and 4 small tents. The camp is in a small valley between 2 hills. There are scattered tall trees dotting the hillside with a few bushes here and there as undergrowth.
"This must be the camp Dippi spoke of. Do you guys want to make our presence known and see who the call belongs to or send a small party in to scout the camp and try to get more information in secret?"
Oslamir surveys the situation and speaks to the party in a low voice, "Well, I think I could hit them with a Sleep spell from here. I can't make any promises but it might take out one or two of them. Thing is, that guy back at the bar said there were four of them. I see four tents but no sign of the fourth Tiefling so we need to be on the lookout for him. The other option would be for a couple of us to approach and try to get information without a fight as Tordal suggested, while the others hide nearby in case things go south. Supposedly they are waiting here for anyone that might have information for them. We could try a little deception and maybe convince them that we have information to trade and see what we can find out. Either plan could work, what do you guys think?"
"I don't think we should have the entire party go up. We would seem like we were ambushing them, which I mean we are...But Pa always told me to speak softly and carry a big stick. So why don't some of us go speak with them and you guys be our big stick in the bushes."
"Ok, but if we're going to walk in, what's our plan? I can't imagine they will respond too well if we just walk up and ask why they have been causing trouble or if they are involved with the attacks on the missing shipments. Maybe we could convince them that we tried to get training at Blobbin's camp but he turned us away and now we can offer them information about his estate and who is there. It's risky but if we're lucky maybe we get some information out of them without a fight?"
"I agree, Tauriel, let's the two of enter the camp and see who's home. Oslamir, Vail, you wait here. If you hear and battle cries or out-of-place beams of purifying light, we might need your assistance."
"Very well, I will do my best to cover you with my crossbow. Before you go, let me just tell you that even though we have not known each other very long, you have both demonstrated great courage and resourcefulness. I have every confidence you will succeed no matter how this develops."
Oslamir inspires both Tauriel and Tordal with Bardic Inspiration (once during the next 10 minutes, each of you can add 1d6 to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw) and then takes cover behind a tree with his crossbow loaded and ready.
Tauriel tilts her head. "Hmm? What do ya mean?"

ooc- I'm waiting for the others in the group because I've been the only one talking for a bit :P
occ: I already said I don't have any more questions and I'm ready to look for the Tiefling's camp but then other people were still asking questions.

Tauriel raises her hand eagerly, "Ooo! Mee! I'm not too good with waiting or hiding myself. Mind if I'm one of the ones who go say hi Mr. Tordal?"
So in the past 72 hrs there's been 4 people posting. Tauriel, Oslamir, Tordal and Vail. I'm removing the others from the party.

Sounds like a plan. So Tordal and Tauriel begin to approach the camp.
What's your two's general plan, are you approaching this from a 'we have info' kinda thing?
