Morn, as you catch glimpses of the creature to the south, you steer toward it in hot pursuit through the forest, you torchlight revealing the one you chase more and more, as you come within 5 ft of it by the end of your turn assuming you take the dash action). You sense Wraeven on your right flank as the creature's matted fur, muscular legs and bat-like ears come into view, passing in and out of the shadows of your torchlight as it tries to move between and around trees to throw the two of you off.
However, as Morn draws close behind the creature, it hears your proximity and almost seems to panic, dropping the case of goods it had been carrying this whole in your and Wraeven's path in a desperate attempt to put some distance between itself and it's pursuers. Then it takes off sprinting the woods again starting to veer upward at a slight angle.
Morn, Between your adrenaline pumping, your focus on the creature, and the flickering irregularity of the torchlight, you react slower than you would hope, and as you attempt to step around the crate, your left heel clips the edge causing you to bounce off course, stumbling as you fumble to maintain center of gravity, falling chest first to the ground about 10 feet later. You take 1damage as you try to catch yourself, and your wrist sinks awkwardly into the mud.
Wraeven, this all happens about 25 feet in front of you. It's your turn.

Wraeven sees Morn run straight into the creature and tumble along with a case of something that definitely was Not younglings. He sends another blast at the creature to keep it on the run more than anything.
Your purple energy blasts wildly toward the creature, cracking like the snap of reins on a horse. It continues running away, and you don't see any other creatures nearby.
Lil, you're turn. You just saw Agozur's arrow fly past, and the creature's howl in response, followed by the ceasing of the song. Silv'ar and Alesandair in front of you.

Lil
"Where did the beautiful singing go?!" "Well if we are getting into a brouhaha I am going to need some weapons" I make my way back through the trees, towards where the merchant was sleeping to grab my weapons and bag quickly as possible. Actively scanning the tree line to see if there are any other creature in the night stalking through the trees.
Dashing, you make it back to the wagon line, to see Mobya and Ayra defensively huddled next to one wagon and the merchant crawling out from under the other, mildly swearing, "...dangblamit..."
As time goes by without word from the others, Mobya’s optimism becomes concern again, and she finds herself grateful for Ayra’s presence and help in safeguarding the babies
Mobya, you are up. As your concern mounts, you see Lil coming back with a torch in his hand and you can see Agozur turn about 30 feet behind him in the forest. Also, you would be aware of the merchant crawling out from under the wagon.
I come up to Lil and nervously asks him a barrage of questions in rapid fire “What is happening, Lil? Who are these creatures? Are they after the younglings? Are they dead? I see Aguzur coming our way, but where are the others?”
Mobya, noticing the sudden cessation of the song, looks at Ayra optimistically
“I don’t hear the melody anymore, how about you? Does that mean we’re in the clear now?”
Ooc: are we at the top of the initiative?
Waiting on Morn. (I'll give another 4hours, then let him react wherever we're at, as if he had held action-ish)

Ayra returns Mobya's optimistic look
"I certainly hope so. I no longer hear it either."
(Morn)
morn continues to move toward War ended in search of the creature

Eldritch blast
Attack 12
Damage10
He then rushes over to his fallen comrade "Are you okay?" Helping him to his feet. Looking for any other threats.

My eyes too full of tears from the beautiful song to make out anything more than shadowy blobs of trees
Wraeven offers to help Morn carry the case of goods back to camp. Everything seems quiet?
As time goes by without word from the others, Mobya’s optimism becomes concern again, and she finds herself grateful for Ayra’s presence and help in safeguarding the babies
“Where’s everyone? This stillness is unsettling“
Agozur would head back with Lil.
