Frix, the PHB or DMG (I forget which) states that you can recover half of your spent ammunition after a battle. The other half is either lost or damaged.
Druug waits for the gnome and tiefling to complete their reconnaissance. He pats Iz's shoulder absently with his large hand, shifting impatiently at the forced inactivity. He looks at the hole in the ceiling and the boulder, then looks back at Thalia with a grimace. "No goblin could have lifted a rock so large. No catapults - must be something big to throw rocks that size," he says.
Frixori eyes the large boulder as she moves through the room as the others make their observations, casting a brief glance up through the hole in the ceiling. Hearing the strange voice coming from the kitchen, she holds up a hand to quiet the others and raises her crossbow at the kitchen door. She reaches a hand in her pocket and rubs on the but of fleece again and creates the sound of a knocking in the door.
Startled by the phantom knock, Thalia jumps slightly and only just manages to clamp her hands around her snout to stopper a yelp. She settles her nerves with a few deep breaths and then, seeing everyone else preparing for yet another confrontation, mutters a few words and brings a shimmering barrier of force into being around herself. She couldn't make out any of the words in that loud whisper, but even if it isn't another goblin... well, better safe than sorry if Druug is right and something big enough to throw boulders is stomping around somewhere in the dark.
Iz waddles forward carefully so as not to lose her balance and further narrows her eyes. She stays to the front of the bulk of her companions, ready to intercede if something comes out to strike at them.
Hearing the Goblin, Sheshka will ready her ax and duck out of direct sight if possible. Again her lip curls up in disgust. "More goblins..." she whispers, venom practically dripping off of her words. If possible, she'll try to creep up closer to where the sound came from so she can be in range to cleave goblins in half.
Shewhka buries her axe in the goblin's chest, and Frixori's arrow finishes the job.
The northwest corner of the kitchen, which contains the pantry, has been destroyed by a falling rock. A stone fireplace is set into the north wall, and broken dishes and utensils are scattered about the floor.
A sack on the floor beside the goblin's corpse contains several muffins, a block of cheese, a cooked chicken, a frying pan, an iron pot, a bullseye lantern, two flasks of oil, a set of cook's utensils, ajar of cloves, ajar of saffron, a dented silver jug, and a cracked hourglass.
Once it seems that the coast is clear, Thalia's curiosity gets the better of her and she moves inside the inn proper, stepping gingerly over the piles of debris and fallen bedclothes from upstairs and now the goblin's corpse (and doing her best not to look at the latter). More disarray in the kitchen beyond, and yet another rock that seems to have smashed down part of the building. "Hm..." she muses. "No, this can't possibly be goblins. Not goblins alone. But then what on earth are they doing here?" Thalia turns to her companions and frowns thoughtfully. "If we're going to be rooting around here and not be caught off-guard then I think we'll need answers, but I'm not sure any are forthcoming unless whatever did cause all this boulder-smashy nonsense decides to show itself, and I can't say I'm looking forward to that prospect." She tries and fails to suppress a shudder. "Hopefully we'll find some surviving townsfolk and they can tell us what's what, but if not... if there are any more goblins left in these parts, it might be worth asking them what all this is? I bet I could incapacitate one long enough for us to hold it down and get some answers out of it, if it's not in the mood to chat. Fortunately, Mr. Zaratan taught me just the spell for such a thing!"
EDIT: Disregard the above due to DM correction. Will post again based on correction soon.
(DM: No chance for a non-lethal blow as I stated above? Leg or shoulder shot perhaps? If not, no big deal. Just making sure that my intent was noted above.)

From the other side of the building Rat whistles loudly and waits to see what happens or who comes running.
The rummaging noises abruptly cease. Then a voice whispers audibly in goblin.

The door creaks open tentatively, revealing a goblin in the room beyond, her eyes filled with terror.
(I think we saved a lot of time when I rolled initiative for everyone, so I'll use that system again.)

(Rat) Would that room be accessible from where Rat is behind the building? Or is it the door opening to the back of the building?
The door is in the back of the building. There is a second door in the dining room which leads into the kitchen as well.

(No problem DM rolled initiative here.)
Rat releases an arrow. To hit: 12, 9 (or 7 for advantage roll to hit, and additional 5 sneak attack damage if Rat was considered hidden).
"Dead goblin good goblin," he spits.
Rat's arrow thuds into the wall to the left of the goblin's head.
