Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

The elven woman admires the magic of sword the Goliath has shown. "Follow me." Innovindil takes Ordo Ursa along the river. After half an hour of travel, she stops in a meadow with a single, huge tree in the middle. "This tree is very old. Even for the elves. It will guide you at the edge of Vordrorn Forest. From there, in an hour you will get to the Citadel's gates. Please come around the tree. You have a handful of seconds to step into the three."

As the adventurers do as asked, Innovindil finishes and greets them: "I feel you all are a blessing to this land. I will remember you in the days to come and know that you will be always welcome here. May the spirits of the forest bless you."

OOC Here I let you say goodbye to dear Innovindil

As the adventurers say their farewells, Innovindil start to speak some words which Grathart recognize as Druidic. After a moment, the tree becomes translucent. All Ordo Ursa steps into it, and really in a blink of an eye, they find themselves in a completely different forest, in a completely different weather (it is warmer now). At north, you see the hills and the mountains where Citadel Adbar is supposed to be.

"Thank you for your kindness, Ordo Ursa will always remember it. Farwell, friend." Ren will step into the portal. 

"OH MAN! THAT WAS AWESOME!" Ren says with new enthusiasm. He seems to be in a lot better mood today than he has been in a long time. "Now, um, which way to Citadel Adbar?"

During the tree-travel, all the heroes perceive something different. A new power. The spirits of the Moonwood Forest have indeed blessed you for your kindness in returning two of her children.

Charm of the Slayer. One sword in your possession becomes a Giant Slayer, for the next 9 days. The charm then vanishes from you, and the weapon returns to normal.

(OOG Erakas or Rockhand, but Imagine Nalla's weapon all super duper powered up! OMG! Let's hunt down an effing dragon!!!! )

"Hey, Chief, everything okay?" Ren walks behind Erak and Grathart and paces himself with Nalla and Snowfall, and asks softly. 

Erakas better be careful sharpening his sword then - hate to cut myself accidentally and inflict an extra 3d6 damage to myself....hahaha

"Whenever it becomes important, I am here for you." Ren smiles and keeps pace with her. He just feels safer next to her right now since coming out to her. 

(OOG Do we all have that power? Can I use that on my Talents? lmao :P ) 

OOC Ops, sorry I need to correct the Charm. The power granted is Giant Slayer, not dragon. Yes, you all have it now (it is active for 9 days), and works only on swords.

(OOC - oh ok that's much better :P )

(OOC - swords or axes - so really only Nalla and Erakas get this benefit - don't think Grathart or Ren use blades

But still - that leaves you major striker Nalla able to deal even MORE damage than before against giants - plus her flaming sword - plus her rage bonus etc )

Erakas now does 1d20+9 Damage: 1d8+10+2d6 vs Giants with one sword though :) toss a hunters mark on there and it changes it to 3d6)

OOC Also only 1 sword in your possesion can have it. So for Erakas he can't use it on both swords. Rockhand is invincible now against giants: 1d12+STR+Rage+3d6. If I were Duke Zalto, I would retire somewhere safe. For Ren, you actually showed me a power you recently acquired which affect weapons. You can take one in Adbar and use that power with the giant slayer power.

OOC Yes Nalla should do 2d6 (greatswrod) + STR + Rage + 1 (magic bonus) + 2d6 (giant slayer) + 2d6 (fire). Although, remeber that in Ironslag we are goinf to fight fire giant (immunity to fire).

(OOC - oh yeah greatsword are 2d6 not 1d12 - so that's 6D6+7 vs non-fire giants :) )
