Strife will turn his head as he manages to dodge the sharks attack. "I said BACK OFF!" the kobold will shout as another jet of ice erupts from the small kobolds mouth towards the shark
The final shark dies, frozen and sinking to the bottom of the sea. You make it to shore and collapse into the warm sand, exhausted from your swim and fending off the sharks. After a few minutes of catching your breath, Cpt. Red Skies stands and says “Alright, let’s get our bearings. Our supplies may be lost but maybe we can salvage something from that wrecked ship. C’mon.” and she begins trudging through the sand toward the rocky cove. Bits of broken timber lay half-buried in the sand amid seashells and seaweed. The shattered hull of a once fine schooner sits half-submerged among a collection of large sharp rocks.
Strife will make his way on to the shore, trudging through the sand and surf as his soaked robe clings to his frail body. After dumping the water out of his tricorn hat, the kobold would move to the half buried schooner and hold his hands out in front of him. With his dagger in one hand and his orb in the other, the kobold would seemingly direct the sand away from the schooner, pointing with his dagger as the kobold casts mold earth and begins to uncover the buried parts of the ship, looking for an easy way inside to search for treasures and supplies.
Strife, the sand peels away from the base of buried boat. Soon a large hole appears in the stern of the ship, evidence of damage done by the rocks littering the cove. You've managed to uncover an entrance into the shipwreck somewhere aft amidship. A name is painted above the hole. It’s weather worn and faded, but you can see that it reads “Golden Wind” in elegantly curving script.
"I think I found a way into the ship! It looks pretty nice.... The Golden Wind... I don't know about golden wind but I hope it is full of golden coins! Am I right?" Strife will say looking to the others, rather proud of his excavation work. "I uhh, I am going to check it out!" Strife will say before scampering into the ship.
Strife, Seldor, and Lady Susanne, Captain Red Skies stops suddenly and says “Did you say, ‘Golden Wind’? That’s impossible… Golden Wind is Marion LaTiffe’s flagship." She squints up at the name painted on the ship. "It looks like it’s been here a few years at least... Did he tell any of you that he’d found the island already?”
Strife would pause on his way inside the ship. "Nope, I don't think so.... I will be honest once he handed me the sack of gold I was prepared to accept just about any job and didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the details..." The kobold would say looking at his feet.
Lady Susanne, Cpt. Red Skies agrees "As did I Lady Susanne." and she looks down at the shattered and water logged planks litering the beach, planting both hands on her hips. "This makes no sense... In any case, maybe we'll find answers inside."
A large hole is carved into the rear of the ship, its edges splintered and jagged. Inside the ship smells of mold and the empty crew quarters is filled knee-deep with water. A door at the other end of the room lies agape, and in the center of the room is a ladder that leads above deck.
"Supply store should be somewhere thereabouts." says Cpt. Red Skies, pointing to the open door.
The kobold will investigate the area that the captain points towards, but is also keeping an eye out for anything that might be the captains quarters...
Hunter Shark rolled a natural 1 and dies, as your spell blasts its bulk briefly out of the water.
Strife's up!

Strife, Cpt. Red Skies will look to you and nod. "Fair enough. I'm not one to question orders myself."

Strife, go ahead and make a perception check for me.
Seldor, Lady Susanne, Vappa, feel free to tell me what you're all doing.
I'm going to pause for a bit so Vappa has time to catch up.
