Bildrath is the shopkeeper. I don't want to discourage you from going to the shop, but I have a map of the valley, if you would like to study it. Let's go.
Ismark and Ireena lead you back to the mansion. Bildrath's shop is right on the town square - next to Mad Mary's house - if you would like to check it out. Otherwise you go back to the mansion and gather yourselves for the long journey ahead. Ismark gathers a long scroll that had been leaning against the bookshelf in the library, and unwinds it on the table. It is well-preserved, well-worn, old map. We are here, he says, pointing to the village of Barovia, toward the east. I have not traveled much outside the village, nor have any but the Visanti. I have not been to Vallaki, he says, pointing to a town toward the center of the map, but I have heard it is better than here. You asked, or perhaps Father Donavich mentioned, the fortified abbey in Krezk. That would be here. He points to a town at the western edge of the valley.
Blue: I will attempt to keep a group loot log in roll 20. Once I get it going, it should be in your journal and titled “Group Loot”. So far it will have the pearl and the 2 gold pieces in it.
Not blue: There are things that Barnaby would like to buy, but he is feeling poor, so he has no preference on going to the shop or not. He is otherwise busying himself memorizing his spells for the day and preparing for the journey ahead.
“Fope, do you have torches? I know your kind have an issue with night blindness..”
Thanks for making that party loot. We got shown about the Ismark family mansion and puddin saw much more loot (page 48 or so) did we grab that, because we should have

Ireena was in her family home, showing Puddin around. I do not know why Puddin would have taken Ireena's family coin, right under Ireena's nose, but Puddin (I think perfectly reasonably) declined to do so. For the moment, you guys haven't talked to either Ismark or Ireena about compensation for this journey, but that's up to you. I think there are ways to inquire politely, without going around the house stealing their gold. ;)
I'm taking a bit of a pause here to allow you guys to discuss with each other, or with Ismark, a plan for making this journey. And to raise the subject of compensation with him, if you want.
The map may not be quite to scale, for the purpose of travel time. I also want to take a little pause to give Puddin a chance to catch up on the last few pages and to join us again.
Good question. The ceremony was at dawn, which I'm calculating as 7:00. It lasted half an hour; that's 7:30. Talking afterward and the walk back to the mansion gets you 8:15. You are now opening and reviewing the map, so (including ongoing dialogue, if you want it) that takes us to 8:30. Still early. Before you leave, Ireena and Ismark will need a few minutes to pack their stuff, which is mostly done already, and that will only be another 15 minutes or so.
I think it's best if we can get an early start. As soon as we feel that we can comfortably complete our journey the next day, we can use the remaining daylight to try and find a defensible location and reinforce it if necessary. If we have learned anything so far, it is that this place takes a significant turn for the worse after sundown. Therefore it would be better to spend more time traveling tomorrow when we believe that we will be in a safer location at sundown.
Bold right, it’s more than a days travel to the next place, so we’re going to be out overnight. It’s 8:30 in the morning now, let’s hit it now and be prepared to camp tonight, in the best position we can find
Vallaki is nearer than than the Abbey. It will be dark before you arrive at either. Vallaki is almost 24 hours of travel without rest, and Krezk is another half a day beyond that. I know nothing of Ireena's history before the Burgomaster found her.
The father told us about travel times to the two places
Because we are in a valley, I've established a somewhat short day: 5:30-6:00pm is sunset, and 7:00 is dawn. Both of those times are already established elsewhere in this thread, but I'll add that information to the OP.
So unless my math fails me we are looking at 1, maybe 2 nights on the road before Vallaki. Might get it down to 1 night if we hit the road now, travel 1 hour or so past sunset (9 hours), then up and on the road at 7 we would need to push a couple hours after sunset to get to Vallaki (unless we hit the road before sunrise). Providing nothing interrupts our travel (right, like that will happen). If we stay an extra day here we might shave off a couple hours of dark travel time...but I sense an urgency to our mission. What do you folks think?

Ismark, do you know a Bildrath?

Ismark's map should be visible in your journal.

Barnaby, for our purposes, and for now, you will not need special paper or ink to transcribe spells.

OK, good, a lot earlier than I was thinking

Barnaby feeds a scrap of dried meat to Tulip.

Blue: what is our best estimate for number of hours to travel to what’s its place? Did we establish that daylight hours are about 7:00-7:00?
Map reading survival:3
perhaps Ismark is aware with his local knowledge or can at least assist with the map.

Doh!

Føpé wonders allowed, Did any one else assume the priest's son is a vampire? He kept saying he was hungry. Curdles the blood.
That was my take on it. too. Fortunately we weren't on the menu last night
