I've placed you all on the map where I thought you might be, based on your descriptions. Feel free to move yourselves around if you want. Your precise locations will affect where your opponents are, so you can't see them yet. ;)
Ok, cool. The witches, shrieking, attack as they appear. One of them slashes at Barnaby and somehow misses. The other, at Chubs, rolls an 18. If that hits, that's 10 points of damage!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Misalyk rounds the wagon (move) drawing his rapier as he goes. Wordlessly he strikes at the witch next to him. Action: Attack: 23 Damage: 10 (I'm unsure if I can draw the rapier *AND* the dagger so I'm going for the one I know I can do).
You can draw and strike with both, provided they are light weapons. A hit with the offhand does no bonus damage (unless you have something going on that says otherwise). So roll for the dagger. The rapier is, of course, a miss.
It's the good and bad of having a DM as a player. Thanks for the catch!
The witches go again. Sorry for the delay.
Shrieking, they claw at their chosen targets again. Barnaby's good fortune gives way, as he gets slashed across the face for 19 (!!) points of damage. Chubs, now that he is aware of his attacker, is able to dodge (I think? A 15 misses, right?) the other attacker. The children cry out in fright, and begin heading back the way you came.
Barnaby casts Shield. Instead of a hit, the witch's ragged, sharp claws scrape across a mystical barrier. Close enough that Barnaby can smell the filth and the swamp! But not a hit.

I'll keep the kids near Chubs, if he moves, figuring he's keeping one eye on them as he scoops lint.
Misalyk is happy where he is.
Yep. Good with the current positioning.
Barnaby initiative: 16
Chubs initiative: 14

18 does, indeed, strike Chubs. As the claws tear through his flesh: Oooooowwwwe. NOT cool.
Edit: FYI... Rapier is not a light weapon. Therefore, no dual wielding with it. /emote: Sad face.
I wanna whack something
Dagger attack: 14 damage: 9
Oh nvm I just read what Duke said
I think the witches got a surprise round so they’re still gonna go before us.
And my damage was wrong anyways. Derp. Phone isn't letting me delete things bother.

The windmill is ours!!!!
Everybody go!
Kif has moved on the map. He will make a feinting attack on the witch next to Chubs 9 if that hits it will do 15 plus 4 damage
Then he will Action surge and attack again 11 to hit for 11 damage
The windmill is gone, Elphaba!
