Ireena sees you staring, and kneels down to show you two bite marks on her neck.
I don't know how much more I can take, she says. He has bitten me, but I haven't turned, yet. Here, I'll show you. Ireena walks you into the kitchen, where there's a pitcher of water. She pours about a cup's worth over her left hand, into a bowl. See? She sees you shifting from one foot to the other, still uncertain. She explains. Vampires hate running water. It's like acid to them. If I had turned, I couldn't do this.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A check to see if her logic about pouring water on her hand is valid. My bonus is the same for religion, history, arcana, nature. Medicine would be 4 less than this value:
Well, like I said, I don't remember much. It's hazy. I just remember his eyes, mostly. Hungry eyes, if you know what I mean.
Ismark and Kif come back in through the side door into the kitchen.
Thanks to my friend here, we've got the cart ready. Let's close up the coffin and get going.
Ismark taps a few nails into the coffin lid and you all work together to load the coffin onto the cart. It's late afternoon already, as you push the cart out into the street. It is still daylight, however, and you note that Ireena has joined you.
The cart was designed to be pulled by beasts of burden, but there are none. It is slow going as you keep it balanced and rolling. You see only a few passersby as you go back toward the town square, then turn west, then north again. The passersby all stop and stare, as much at you as at the coffin. And a little at Ireena. You are quite a parade of mysteries, to them.
You manage to roll the cart northward, all the way out of the town itself, and you are climbing a low hill across a pasture that separates the village from the church and graveyard. You find yourselves in a meadow about 80' long, with the village behind you, the church and graveyard in front of you, and the woods all around.
You hear the baying of wolves to your left, and you realize you are under attack! Six large wolves are racing across the pasture, toward you. Ismark calls out: Strahd's minions! I must protect Ireena! Protect father, please! Ismark - who is now wearing heavy armor, and looks quite imposing - grabs Ireena's elbow and runs with her toward the church. Father Donavich! Open the door! Hurry!
I'll make a battle map later. Meanwhile, roll for initiative.

That's not good enough to know for sure about the water. Might be a superstition; might be a trick. But it is enough to know that it's unlikely she would join you for the trip to the church during daylight hours, when she did not have to do so. Assuming, of course, that local vampires behave similarly to the ones you've read about. But it is daytime, and she has joined you outside for a walk.
Ismark and Ireena sprint toward the church. While we wait for Puddin's initiative, you can check out the map at Roll20. Also put yourselves around the cart where you want to be standing.

Surreptitiously checking Ireena for bight marks, perception:17
Kind of a sad time to roll a natural 1. Ah, well.
Please roll a Stealth check, also. For the surreptitious part.

Ireena, what has Strahd said to you during his visits?

I hear you, Barnaby, but it would probably set the wrong tone if we feed his dad to the dogs
Hold them off! I will be right back!

Seems about right for me, ready to meatshield

Ok. Wolves are up next. Set yourselves on the map where you want to be around the cart. They’re coming!
Was Ismark's and Ireena's sprint to the church their action? Does that make it my turn?
Looks like we were writing at the same time -- disregard my question.
The wolves all had to sprint to get into position. No attacks. All three of you can go now.
