It is a low wall. You can see over it, but it is rough terrain to cross. "Rough terrain" means that crossing it counts double: 10 feet of movement, instead of 5 feet.
Barnaby misses! The firebolt strikes a tree trunk. You can see a bit of a sizzle for a moment, but it dies out without igniting.
Kif has made himself a tempting target, and the essentially brainless attacking creatures go for it. The first one hits! Another 5 points of damage! The second one misses.
Don't forget to use your inspiration, those who have it. I'm inclined, for now, to give inspiration often, but I can't give you a fresh one if you haven't used your last one.
On that note, that was a quality joke, Kif. Take a point of inspiration. So I believe all three of you are now so equipped.
There is a tale of the knight Sir Pontus Amerilius, who once went blindfolded into a gorgon's maze and then told it sagas of such length and pointlessness that the gorgon was bored into stone. The story is of such an age that no one is quite sure if it is fact or an ironic joke that has, with time, become fact. You see, the story goes that Pontus was fond of tales of...

The creature on the left gets momentarily distracted by Puddin and Barnaby. It looks up at these small, brightly colored humanoids, and is momentarily confused. Kif strikes! And what a weapon, an axe, to fell a tree-creature! With a single blow, Kif brings it down.
I'm sorry, I just still a little confused and so I redid the above roll like three times so that's why the flag is on there. I leave it up to you Ben to determine whether to count it or not.

Kif reacts to the creatures who are moving in from the southeast, hoping to intercept. Is that wall on the map a serious obstacle?
