Leah clutches her katana at the words, "You all came for a reason, right?". After a sentimental pause, her attention returns to Wakanga and the responses of the group.

Grungle turns his attention to their employer “yes, we are ready to depart as my comrad has stated. Is there any other instructions or information for us?” he asks in the most proper and upright tone that he could muster. His attention soon goes back to the house and the merchant. Being a man of weapons, this much magic makes him nervous.

"Oh, so you are departing." She says, still deep in thought about other things. "I fear I may not have enough hints to give. The best I could gather is that the source of this evil is within this peninsula. This place is vastly unexplored, so my only hope is that you, with your abilities may be able to find whatever it might be that we're looking for."

She takes a stop to breath and looks at Snippet. "It's good to have you among them. If you really are going to help, I'm sure they will all appreciate it."

"Well ma'am there really isn't any time to waste. We're wantin' to figure this out right quickly. So, if ya ain't have nothing else for us. I guess we will get ready to head out."

"Thank you for your approval. I will do my best to help end this deadly curse"

Leah uncharacteristically blurts out, "Wait, so we are here in this place we know barely anything about, looking for... something. and we dont even know what that something is, where to start, or how to know when we find it. am i the only one concerned by that?"

“HaHaHa!” laughing at Leah’s comment, “we will level the forest if we must but I think our guide may have some ideas of where to start” he tells her trying to ease her mind and his own.

Leah responds to Grungle, "thats all well and good, but WHAT are we leveling the forest to find? Am i the only one concerned about that?"

"Unfortunately Leah, that's part of our mission. We have to figure it out. There is, in theory, SOMETHING, out there. This is out of my expertise... but if we aim to be heroes, we're just going to have to get out there and figure it out."

Syndra pauses for a second, before responding to Leah's commentary. "I ask you to not worry, here in the Chult, we have so much space we need to search for. Along with that, while I don't know the responsible's appearance, the matter of the fact is that it's strong enough to be spreading these effects through all the known land. I'm sure something like that will have a distinguishable appearance."

Wakanga sees that Syndra seems to be done at the point, and adresses the party himself personally. "Didn't you say you were busy with something? Oh, my. I hope this isn't drawing too much of your precious time. You're welcome to stay for as long as you want to, but if you need to leave, I do understand, and I hope you all have good luck out there." You all can notice a slight nod coming from the hood that was covering Syndra's face.

Snippet is eager to get started, and nods his head at Wakanga's words.

"Would you...", Leah hesitates. "Would you all be up for some group meditation before we leave? I think it could help guide us."

"I have never meditated before," he tells Leah "but if it brings us luck or favor of the gods then I am all for it" says as he looks to everyone else for response.

Spider smiles, "Of course. Let us meditate."

"That sounds like a good idea, but don't forget we have to meet Shago. So let's not lose track of time".

Leah calmly addresses the group, "Ok, everyone get comfortable, close your eyes, and clear your mind. Dont think, feel. Let the universal flow pull you towards the answer. Focus. On your breathing."

Leah crosses her legs in lotus pose, again holding her hands together at the fingertips, pointed down. She takes a calm, but deep breath, feeling the flow of energy from the others in the room, and welcomes the guidance they all seek.

 Insight 10

Snippet has never meditated before inside with so many people, but soon his mind wanders and becomes one with the land. The Spores and windblown seeds his guide to the peninsula. (I'm not sure where Leah is going with this as the DM already said we won't get any more information until we leave, but here is a second Insight check) Insight 5

Grungle starts to feel more relaxed and at ease as he lets his breathing slow down and his muscles relax. A thought comes to him, ‘maybe there is something to this cleric stuff. I should look into it more’.

OCC thinking about duel classing fighter/cleric.

 Everyone in the room goes in deep silence for a second, at Leah's request. Syndra seemed to be meditating as well, while Wakanga stays there, scratching his head, waiting for it to end, since he didn't fully understand it.

During this interaction, Leah manages to gather an incredible mount of focus, deeply immersing herself in her own mind. When this is over, she feels incredibly well rested, and ready to go in the adventure.

The rest of the party too, can feel a bit of the effects, as peace starts setting in, but soon, it all comes to an end, and everyone opens their eyes. Syndra is the first one to speak up after that. "Well, that was an interesting experience. And now, I think it's time you get back to your quest, I hope you all have good luck in finding the clues you need."

Feeling good and ready to go, “yes well, as soon as our guide gets here we will go” he tells Syndra.
