"That would be best. Ah, perhaps I should go? I am sure the good Titus will set me to rights in a moment should anything... untowards befall."
Atuan approaches the line between the enchanted mirrors. He pauses, taking a deep breath, then looks over his shoulder at the others. He smirks slightly, then pauses, still reflecting on possible impending pain. He doesn't like pain. He mutters an incantation for divine guidance, taking a moment to drop into an all too familiar skulking position. With light and stealthy steps, he walks through to the intersection beyond.

After Atuancrosses between the mirrors, it seems at first that nothing will happen. But then two shadows emerge, one from each mirror. Each has the same height and build of Atuan.
“Damned black magic” spits Titus, his voice thick with derision for all things necrotic. “Nobody else cross the threshold until we put these fiends back in their place!” He raises his axe over his head and holds his shield at the ready.
Seeing the shadows rise from the mirrors, Atuan's smile broadens. "So that's the game, then! Well, I fear I must cut short the fun."
With a quick flick of his wrist, Atuan mutters an invocation of divinity. A grey burst radiates out from him, kicking up a small amount of dust around his shoes as he channels the divine nature of the Thief god. A sound like little bells - or perhaps coins landing on each other radiates from his mouth, causing the shadows to take notice as they ready their attacks. (DC on turn undead: 14 wis save.)
Both shadows flinch away from Atuan, but one straightens as it finds resolve. The second one (the southern shadow) steps backwards, unable to tap such resolve.
As quickly as they appeared, both shadows are dispatched by Morphand Bear. Bear's triumphant roar echoes down the corridor as the shadows dissolve into nothing.
The bear's claws scrap around the mirror without getting the necessary purchase to pull it from the wall.
"Never mind Bear, thank you for trying. You can go back to waiting over there."
Morph waves the bear back to the intersection, and turns to his friends.
"Well? Want to try just walking through? Any other ideas?"

Stealth for fun: 20 + guidance: 2
As Atuan reflects, but before he starts trying to cross between the two mirrors, Morph steps up to him and places his hand on Atuan's shoulder.
"A little more help, in case you need it."
Morph utters a word and makes a gesture with his rod, causing a small glow to emanate from his hand as it rests on Atuan's shoulder.
As Morph releases his hand, the glow dissipates.
"Right, good luck."

Morph is up.
Morph backs up a bit to stand behind Titus, calling out to the bear.
"Bear! Get them!"
Morph waves at the bear, and then points at the two shadows.
Morph waves his rod and utters an arcane word, causing two beams to split from the tip of the rod, one for each of the shadows.
The bear squeezes past Atuan, biting at the north shadow and swiping its claws at the south shadow.

(combat has ended.)
Morph calls out to the bear
"You did very well, you're a good bear."
Morph moves up near the mirrors.
"Well, my turn?"
Morph steps between the mirrors, and around the bear, looking back to see if any more shadows appear.

(Sorry! Once again, should have had advantage on that initiative roll - I'll try to remind you in a more timely manner next time.)
Pulling a rapier from under his cloak, Atuan strikes at the Shadow that just drained Morph.

(aha, didn't expect a crit, so add 2 and 6)
(I will start to remember eventually!)
Atuan slays the shadow efficiently.
