Popping up from behind his rocky cover, Kestrell can only barely make out his intended target through the mass of battling forms in front of him. Having to adjust his aim at the last moment in order to miss the suddenly interposed form of Mazin, the sorcerer's flaming bolt goes wide, *hissing* as it dissapears harmlessly into the nearby wet vegetation.
[OOC] RND2: Altani's up next. I have Dewi and Mazin's actions, but also need Alwin's RND 2 action. The severely burned orc that was hit by Kestrell's chaos bolt is the one to the rear of the group (H13), who threw a javelin at Altani. The orc in front of Mazin (H9, with two javelins sticking out of his chest) is still standing... barely. The only other wounded orc is the one hit by Alwin's fire bolt is at I12. The other 3 orcs are uninjured.
[OOG] Damian_May: Hope the water genasi token is okay. Couldn't find one the right size with black hair. Position wise, did you mean for Dewi to be up near the Northern tree line - N6? I made an initiative roll for you just to keep things rolling.

Seeing the centaur dodging heavy blows and knowing the reputation of orcish warbands, Dewi slid out of the water and ran along the edge of the trees stopping at the northernmost edge of a small clump of foliage ( F6...unless I've miscounted), seeing the embattled centaur just ahead she reached out towards the nearest orc and summoned the chilling cold of the rivers embrace into their body.
Seeing her the others may note her long black hair slick with water that seemed to drift slowly over her shoulders as if moved by invisible currents, and silver/blue-grey skin. Her eyes were large for her face and black in colour. She carried a spear and shield though both looked more than a little waterlogged and worse for wear, as did the bag slung over her back, her simple grey cotton clothes were clean but ragged and, in places, mostly composed of holes...
OOC:
Initiative: 6
Action: Casting Frostbite: You cause numbing frost to form on one creature that you can see within range. The target must make a Constitution saving throw ( DC 13). On a failed save, the target takes 1d6 cold damage, and it has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
Catching a glimpse of movement out of the corner of her eye, Altani turns her head slightly after her unsuccessful swing, spotting the new arrival with the blue/grey skin and long black hair.
Reaching out towards the orc that is preparing to attack the embattled centaur warrior, the newcomer murmers words strangely familiar to the paladin and with a gesture causes a sheen of frost to grow over the orc's arms, chest and face. Roaring in surprise, the orc seems more confused than hurt, though as the ice breaks away to reveal splotches of discoloured skin beneath, it is clear that the creature was harmed by the newcomer's magic.
[OOC] O4 con save: 5 FAIL: takes 4 cold damage and has disadvantage on next weapon attack it makes before its next turn.

If the Orc in front of Mazin is still alive, he will attack him. If not, he will move to the closest Orc.
Mazin will draw his Greatsword and Recklessly attack the Orc in front of him. As he does so he will say in Orcish "This town is protected. Leave or die!"
Attack: 23 Damage: 17 (Reckless Attack gives attack rolls against Mazin advantage until his next turn.)
Impressed with this orc's resiliance desite himself, Mazin momentarily experiences a sensation of a different time, a different place... a different orc. The moment passes from the enraged barbarian's mind quickly, banished by the low, deep growl that erupts from the huge warrior in a roar of pure fury as his massive blade comes down with incredible speed and force, cleaving his enemy from crown-to-crotch. As the now definitively dead orc topples in twain, two of the others charge forward, both bringing down their greataxes in an attempt to slay this terrible foe. Both strikes connect, tearing through furs and skin alike, though Mazin seems to barely register the wounds, instead kicking the tangled remains of the slain orc away as he prepares to destroy these latest enemies.
Even as the two orcs charge forward to attack Mazin, Altani's opponent presses forward against the centaur as the javelin thrower lifts and releases another of the deadly missiles at the paladin. Anticipating the axe strike, the armoured plains woman spins enough that the orc's blow deflects painfully but harmlessly off her chainmail armour, while simultaneously bringing her shield up to deflect the other orc's thrown javelin. Both orcs roar in anger and frustration at being seemingly unable to draw the blood of the holy warrior.
[OOC] Sylmeris finished off the orc she backstabbed and Mazin kills the original orc standing at H9, but two of the supporting orcs now move forward to G9 and H9 to attack Mazin. The two orcs near Altani (J11 & I12) continue to attack the centaur, one melee, one ranged.
Orc 1 Great axe melee attack vs Mazin: Attack: 18 Damage: 12 Hit: Mazin takes 6 slashing damage O3 GA melee atk vs Mazin: 20 Damage: 7 Hit: Mazin takes 3 slashing damage O4 GA melee atk vs Altani: 17 Damage: 12 O6 Javelin ranged atk vs Altani: Attack: 13 Damage: 8

Attack (with advantage from Tides of Chaos): 25 Damage: 15 + 4 = 19 Thunder damage Wild Magic Surge: 12
Struggling to focus the building power within himself, Kestrell is forced a step backwards as both hands shoot forward to send another oscillating bolt of rainbow hued energy lancing towards his foes. This time, the sorcerer's oft unpredictable magic explodes from him with a resounding *CRASH* of thunder, as though the perfect storm had broken around the combatants for the merest of instants. The chaotic force catches the orc in front of Alwin completely by surprise, at first blowing it from its feet, before suddenly picking the helpless creature up and *slamming* it back to the ground with bone-crushing force. Following the sudden assault, the orc lies still, unmoving, lifeless.
