The Long Road of the Mage King (Game Thread)

Stones, Dog, Tock, and Feytok:

 Gash and Bulwark:

"Gregory? Gash? Can you hear me?" Dog says a bit loudly, staying away from the pink light. "The pink light made him disappear. Are you just invisible, Gash? Can you see us? Are you somewhere else?"

Dog pulls out his old longsword and slowly moves the tip of it into the light and tries to pull it back.

Dog recalls now that Gash and the candle did not disappear until fully immersed in the aura of the room. Unsurprisingly, his sword remains in his hands.

Tock regained 2 charges for his Gem of Seeing at dawn and is now using one charge. 

"Hold on, I may be able to see through this trick."

And he will continue staring at everything and everyone through the stone for the next 10 minutes. 

 Tock detects no illusion or invisibility. He is able to see into the ethereal plane...and the material one, which appears to be mostly stone and earth here.

"Hello?" Gash calls to the warforged. "I don't know how to help you but I am friendly."

(Don't forget that you have goodberries)

Stones will look around the wall right before it goes into the room, looking for writing or runes or something. 

8+2 for investigation or +3 for perception. 

Everything appears to emanate from the stone in the middle of the room.

"Here friend, eat one of these." Gash feeds the warfordged a goodberry

Bulwark heals 1 HP and awakens.

Gash steps back immediately, "Hey, hello, I'm Gregory. Who are you? Are you doing the trials as well?"

Dog looks at Tock, FeyTok, and Stones and sighs. He doesn't see another way to save Genny and Nev, and now Gash, so he steps into the room, trying to get a look around the corner as he does so.

Dog:

Stones looks to the other two, shrugs and with a smile leaps into the room. 

Feytok and Tock follow suit, appearing alongside Stones who previously appeared next to Dog. The room has changed, as has the aura of the room which is now green. Down the stairs (to the east) is Gash tending to a clearly injured warforged.

Two lights, violet in colour appear in Bulwark's face where the eyes of any other humanoid would be. They disappear and appear again rapidly, giving the distinct impression of blinking. Clicks and whirs accompany them, coming seemingly from within him, as mechanisms long dead stir back to life. A long groan of stone, metal, and wood as his body shifts, and his form raises of the ground, rising higher and higher until Gash would have to crane his neck fully upwards to look him in the eye. Bulwark is silent for a moment, until with a crash his warhammer appears in his hands, head slamming into the floor.

"Analysing surroundings." Bulwark's head turns to fully survey the area, stopping on Gash with an intense regard. "Crystal Minotaurs: Undetected. Only presence detected: Goblin. Immediate Threat Level: Minimal. Creature self-definition: Gregory. Response to questions: Bulwark, and ERROR."

A roar bellows out from somewhere in the dungeon, echoed by another further in the distance.

"Its only minimal because I said I was friendly right? Becau-- WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"Detection of further humanoids: Goliath, Tabaxi, Kenku, Fire Genasi. Curious: Who are you?"
