Again, as you speak, it is clear the Lizardman does not understand your language. While keeping an eye on you, they all exchange glances and one of the lizardmen, again, barks something in draconic back into the cave. Deeper from within the cavern, a much larger lizardman approaches slowly and stops in front of you all, sizing you up. He looks down at the equipment on the ground and his flicked tongue almost dances as he kneels to inspect them. Sitting up, he speaks to you all in draconic, and (i'm assuming, that none of you understand) after a few silent moments, waves to the guards. They lower their weapons, and Misha slowly reaches down and picks up her gear, quickly nodding to Kali to do the same. You are all carefully led through a dim, musty, humid maze of corridors and rooms. Judging by the rooms you've passed, there must be over one hundrend lizardfolk in this complex.
You are eventually led to a throne room.
Two sets of three pillars flank a central area where two lizardfolk hatchlings are playing. At the far end of the room, a wooden throne stands on a low, stone dais. Carvings of reptiles decorate the throne, and glints of reflected light hint at the presence of inset gemstones. The heads of several creatures hang on the walls, mounted on plaques of wood for display as trophies. As the guards escort you to the center of the room, the hatchlings watch you with blink less eyes and a childlike wonder, clearly not afraid. The throne is carved with images of snakes and lizards. Blue-green stones of have been inset to represent the eyes of these creatures.
A female lizardfolk queen dressed royally and extravagantly is sitting on the throne. With slow sweeping motions, the guards back away and one of them, the large lizardman guard, speak in draconic to the queen. She looks all of you over for what appears to be a very long minute.
Carrhae bows gracefully, being careful not to spill anything that she's carrying. "I can, Your Grace. Thank you for admitting us. I am Captain Carrhae of the Belle of the Sea. We come in peace."

Othokent seems to be a worldly Queen, and thus discloses the following information:
Merfolk: The merfolk are people that have the upper body, arms, and head of a fair-featured human from the waist up and instead of legs they had a fish-like tail from the hips down. Their humanoid features are fey-like, more similar to elves than humans. They have been allies to the Lizardfolk for quite some time. They live in cities and isolated settlements within shallow seas and coral reefs, and their only natural enemy are the Sahuagin - and thus joined the Alliance.
Koalinth: Koalinths are the sea dwelling cousins of hobgoblins. They typically have dark green or sea green. Koalinth organize themselves in tribes and typically under a strict hierarchy led by the strongest among their number. They are fierce and worthy soldiers. They spend the majority of their time underwater raiding sea elf and triton communities, and the Sahuagin constantly attack their settlements. Thus, they joined the Alliance.
Locathah: The Locathah are basically fish people. They have fine scales covering their bodies that range from olive green to ocre in color although their stomach scales instead range from sea green to pale yellow. They have fish-like heads with large eyes, either all-black or all-white, toothless mouths and small fins where ears would normally be. Instead of hair, they have a dorsal fin and fluke. They Sahuagin use them as slaves. They have had enough. They have joined the Alliance.
The Sahuagin: Sahuagin are our natural enemies. Lizardfolk and Sahuagin could not co-exist peacefully, and wars between us are often prolonged, bloody affairs that occasionally even interfered with shipping and maritime trade of our society. Exactly why the two races hated each other so much is unknown, but what is known is that they attack our colonies and push us out of our lands, and slaughter our people. It is almost an unnatural hatred and we are going to make a stand against them.
(The Locathah, Merfolk, and Koalinth are all Neutral in alignment. The Sahuagin are Lawful Evil.)
The choice must be made if you wish to make efforts for Saltmarsh to join the Alliance and help them defeat the Sahuagin. From this point on you must decide to join the Alliance, or decline and leave for home.
