We can just assume Lusith has explored the whole temple, unless he happens to find something special he's just going to keep looking. I'm perfectly happy to just skip to dawn.

I am assuming about 10 min per room in his search...
Entering the first room on your right, you can tell this was the personal chambers of someone more important than whoever was sleeping downstairs. A large broken bed stans in the center of the room, pieces smashed drawer chests and wardrobe litter the floor. The mattress has been ripped and eaten away. Several panes from the window have broken and let in nature, as the floor is littered with decayed leaves. Several small, broken, wooden statues of the goddess can also be found on the floor.

The script, though not familiar, is tantalizing, and you feel, given enough time, you should be able to puzzle it out.
Having slept adequately well, for taking an arrow to the shoulder the previous day, Eurim rises and pokes his head out of the temple doors, trying to keep watch on the exterior compound. He still doesn't trust his surroundings, and has a feeling that things will always go bad very quickly. He carries the heavy crossbow with him, keeping it out of sight from the outside world, but still close at hand.
Outside, the ground is covered in icy hail, though the hail has stopped. The rain is turning fitful, from this vantage you can see pockets of heavy rain, though it is only steady, soaking drizzle here. The clouds above also seem to be lightening, you can see some low lying clouds pushing their way off coast. Though the crack of lightning and boom of thunder lets you know it has not all moved beyond the isle. Beyond the coast, the sky is a mass of boiling black clouds and streaks of thunder.
Nicholas
It still feels tantalizingly familiar, almost as if... could it be? No, just your imagination.
Lyle
If you are searching, there is very little shiny here. It has been long picked over.
Lusith
The next room is bigger, and judging by the dark, heavy wood, belonged to someone of more import, though all is smashed here and dirt litters the floor. In this room, the shutters are open and bang in the wind.
As you turn to go, a flash of lightening draws a responsive glint from within the room, amid the ruins of the bed. Searching, you find a tarnished bronze torc. In the center is a raised circle with a tiny engraved branch. It has very detailed pointy leaves and small circles like berries. On the backside, there is a matching raised circle, without any ornamentation.
Whether it was some noise you were unaware of, or the primal sensation of a predator nearby, you glance up from your book at the door in time to see an impossibly thin shadow lunging at you from dimness beyond the fires light.
Nicholas yelps in surprise and rolls away from the shadow, grabbing for the longsword as he does. He slashes at it, gripping the longsword with both hands, trying desperately to do anything to stop it from reaching him.
As you spin with your longsword, you get a good look at the creature. It is clothed in the tattered remains of a pair of pants, skeletally thin with bulging red eyes that seem to glow in the reflected firelight. The fingers of its hands end in long sharp nails, and its open mouth is filled with sharpened teeth. Your longsword connects with its side, tearing a long gash across its abdomen. A thick, blackish liquid, like almost dried blood oozes from the wound.
Monster: Attack: 17 Damage: 4
As the creature spins off, its claw reaches out and swipes at you. You feel the sharp pain of its claws as it strikes a hit.
[ooc as Janey gets ready to wake up and make an attack: I picked up one of the goblin archers' bows. Is it a longbow or shortbow? ic: she is dreaming that she can't make an attack because she doesn't know which damage dice to roll ;)]

(This is so meta I’m so confused. :) )

OOC: Is it morning yet? Seems about time for the rest of the party to start waking.
