[ooc as Janey gets ready to wake up and make an attack: I picked up one of the goblin archers' bows. Is it a longbow or shortbow? ic: she is dreaming that she can't make an attack because she doesn't know which damage dice to roll ;)]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Denethir mumbles and groans as he comes round, Lyle's din rousing him from the first decent bit of sleep he'd had in days. On realising why the halfling was shouting, he clambers to his feet and slashes at the monster, following his companion's lead.
Dimly hearing the cries of fighting, but reacting more to the flurry of motion of the others, Eurim will rush to get line of sight of the monster. Once, there, if he has a clear shot, he will let fly with a bolt! Attack 5
Janey wakes suddenly, somewhat disoriented from a very strange dream filled with images of shortbows and dice, and struggles to remember where she is. The memory of the previous day comes back to her as she registers the sounds of combat close by. She leaps to her feet, drawing her new bow and fires an arrow at the attacker.
Swinging again, Nicholas scores another hit on the monster, though not as deep.
Lyle runs at the monster, scoring a long shallow slice down its side with his first dagger, but missing with his second.
However, Lyles attack spoils Eurim's aim, and his bolt sails uselessly (and luckily) through the crowd.
Denethir fairs as well, though it is his second strike which hits home.
Janey's shot proves to be as deadly has Eurim's previous shots had been, striking the eye and burying itself deep in the creature's brain. With a gurgle, the creature falls to the floor.
Melisana, a small rock in one hand and a dagger in the other, "Undead," she says. "Father has said their are curse spirits and bodies which haunt this island."
Keestake, "I have sometimes come across grisly corpses along the coast. I always thought there was something in the waters hereabouts, perhaps I was wrong in this. Certainly, I never thought such a creature could enter the Temple."

The last room in the hall reveals little else besides broken furniture and rats.
As you glance around the room, something catches your eye. High in the wall is a notch. Reaching in, you retrieve a book. Glancing through it, there are drawings of people doing various poses and exercises. Reading a passage, "Harnessing the Ki and achieving Oneness, force can be redirected. Proper breathing and stillness for inner retrospection is paramount." Below is a picture of a man in an odd seated position with his legs crossed and his feet on top, his hand of pressed palms together before him at chest level, with an arrow indicating down.
Lusith will start reading through the book and trying out some of the poses while he waits for dawn. Unless someone comes to get him, he'll do this until about an hour before dawn and then head down to join the others.
Investigating the last room, you find it also contains the faded and half rat eaten remains of many papers, picking one up to see a stetch of a wolf and a paw print.
Beneath, it reads, “The Dire Wolf shares a distant ancestry with the common wolves of forest, plain and tundra as well as the Warg. In size the they are slightly larger than then the largest wolf and smaller than the smallest Warg, making them hard to distinguish by track alone. In appearance, they have enlarged canines and these often lead marks on the bones of their prey. They are highly intelligent in hunting and will attack from multiple….”
Nicholas, after, the battle, would have gone back to the corner, sweaty and scared, and attempted to rest and read some more, glancing up frightfully at every creaking or blowing sound.
