Maldorn releases his readied arrow. It flies true, ricocheting off the glass. A tiny crack appears, but the image ignores it.
This round (2):
Erric attempts to mock the creature in the mirror, but it shows no sign that it was affected by his magic. As everyone watches, Jambiya countenance changes. While no one can say any part of her physical form actually changes, something about her beauty intensifies. Even those looking behind her are awed by her. Feelings of peace and friendliness wash off of her. Everyone's positive feelings for her intensify. Erric is practically drooling. Anafrey turns to smile at her. Maldorn coolly draws a second arrow and lets it fly. This arrow catches the edge of the frame, leaving another small, yet noticeable flaw.
OOC: Anafrey, even if you are charmed by Jambiya, you may still do something ... other than attack Jambiya. Do you want to do something, or are you choosing to be struck immobile by her fey presence?
OOC2: Here's how I take Jambiya's fey presence. Erric may not have been charmed by Jambiya, but I feel like her (especially inexperienced) ability would still affect those around her who aren't charmed. Those who already like her would have those feelings intensified, even if they're not charmed. Now, if she had been trying to frighten the mirror, those feelings would be counter to how the other three feel about her, so they wouldn't affect them. However, other creatures who aren't charmed by her that do have negative feelings about her would just feel those feelings intensify for a bit. So, while Erric isn't charmed magically, he's still charmed romantically. :) Anafrey, on the other hand, is charmed. But, there is nothing about that condition that would keep her from acting.
[ooc : oh I figured I wouldn't be able to do anything, well then]
Jambiya's presence spurs Anafrey to continue where Jambiya last left off, she walks toward the mirror, lifting it up and attempting to gently turn it the rest of the way around so that the spectral presence no longer harangues her companions with its awful screaming.
Oh Erric is totally reacting to her fey presence like someone pretending to be drinking pretends to be drunk. He knows there's something shifty going on but he does not protest and he is On Board and if he were a cartoon character his jaws would be on the floor, his eyes bugging out, and he'd be making the "awooooooooga" noise.

Goof ball. :)
Anafrey steps forward to turn the mirror around, but she cannot. She pushes and pulls, but the mirror will not budge. Once again, the creature within drops her jaw and wails.
DC10 CHA saving throw or take 3 psychic damage and be frightened of the mirror until the end of your next turn.
OOC: is there space behind the mirror or is it propped against a wall?
For his turn, Maldorn will perform a search action, looking for something to cover the mirror with, or if anything around the room sparks an idea in his head.
I’m not sure if you’d like a perception or an investigation check for that, so please pick the modifier that is appropriate and add to this raw d20: 4
Erric, Jambiya and Anafrey all attack the mirror. Erric attempts to skewer the damned piece of furniture. His blade hits the surface and slides up, but it leaves a small crack behind. Jambiya releases another blast of energy, which hits the glass and dissipates in a kind of cloud, but another tiny crack appears. Anafrey uses an overarm swing to strike the mirror. Her blade also stops and slides along the glass. But, like the others, a small crack appears. Maldorn, uses his free hand to search through some of the crates and barrels. He does not find anything to cover the mirror with. The only thing he could do with these is stack them in front of the mirror to cover it up.
For the fourth time, the creature's mouth gapes, and a wail issues forth. DC10 CHA saving throw or take 4 psychic damage and be frightened of the mirror until the end of your next turn.
OOC: The mirror is not leaning against the wall — it is a free-standing, full-length mirror — but it is right up against the wall, so you can't get behind it, if that's what you were wondering.
Jambiya takes another few steps back as the creature wails again (Cha save: 5)...
...and she stumbles and holds her hands over her ears, eyes going wide. Frightened, she hides her face and wildly shoots another coruscating blast at the mirror!
Attack at disadvantage for fright! 18 to hit, for 10 force damage
OOC > I forgot disadvantage... d'oh! Ignore the above... Again!
Attack at disadvantage for fright! Attack: 9 Damage: 7 force damage

Erric, seeing Maldorn rooting around for something to cover the mirror, casts minor illusion again, same slab as before, only this time completely covering it. The slab, this time, has a beautiful image of Sune on it, standing in front of a gorgeous flower garden, on both sides (so that the woman looking out would see it).
"What happens when we break the mirror? And Anafrey is the mirror stuck magically?"
The strain of wail after wail is finally too much for Jambiya and Anafrey. Jambiya's erratic attack sails by the mirror, hitting the wall. Erric attempts to protect her by conjuring a pleasant image in front of the mirror. But Anafrey, in her attempt to protect Jambiya, swings wildly through the illusion while making sure she doesn't get any closer to the mirror. There is a distinct cracking sound behind Erric's projection ...
... and in that instant the cellar changes. Though you still stand within the basement, its walls are now shadowy and indistinct; intangible, yet impenetrable. Everything is darker, and colder now. The torches on the walls which had been ignited are gone. The two torches being held in hand are the only sources of light, and even their light seems diminished. Erric's projection still conceals where the mirror is ... as far as you all know.
You all pause to analyze your surroundings ... and there is no wail.
The mirror itself stands blank; a deeper darkness within the gloom. The small cracks the group inflicted have combined to form one long crack that crosses the face at a diagonal.

"We... may be?" Erric replies in a similar tone.
First he looks at Maldorn's pack to see if the small box is still there. He then moves to the mirror and touches it in an attempt to move into it.
If there's nothing notable in either case, he'll look around the room for anything different. Are there rats in the room like before? Can he open a crate?
"Do we need to go look around for another exit?"
(Can I do an arcana check to see if I recognize any element of this obviously magical effect? Or history? Or investigation? Is there a shadow realm I've heard about? Vanilla d20 roll if so, and feel free to apply whatever modifier you want 3)
Erric WIS 7 2 (take first roll if you're trying to charm us, and if you're trying to frighten us, there's the second roll for advantage)

Erric is honestly surprised that his spell didn't work. As the wail starts up again, he thrusts the silver rapier at the mirror in reaction.
Attack: 19 Damage: 7
Jambiya shakes her head sadly, then (Cha Save: 21)...
"I am sorry," she says and backs up ten feet, shooting an eldritch blast of green and white energy at the mirror: 10 to hit, for 6 force damage.
