Quick note: If you aren't multiclassing, level 4 grants you an Ability Score Increase. You may use 2 points to increase your abilities, either in the same or 2 different ones. You may also opt to take a feat. If you're multiclassing, you'll have to wait to hit 4 in a single class.
Another quick note: Had you decided to sell the heirloom necklace you would not be level 4 right now.
I go to Hymir and hold up the glass eye. "A while ago you offered to help me find answers and I think I'm ready to look. Could you cast Identify on this. I've always suspected it was magical. Maybe if I learn what magics are present I'll be better equiped to find the wizard."
Absolutely my friend I'm starting to get a hand on this spell I can cast it on anything or anyone, which I would love to cast on dustfinger to finally figure out what it is.
Hymir sets up his ritual to cast Identify on Az Emberi's glass eye. He goes through the motions of the spell and just as the knowledge of the item would normally come to him through magical means... the eye blinks at him. The glass eye, basically a marble, somehow looks like it blinks open similar to someone's eyes when they wake up.
This breaks Hymir's concentration on the ritual and he instinctually drops it, but instead of the thing falling to the ground, it simply floats in the air where he let go of it. The eye starts to glow, shifting through the spectrum of visible light. It rises up on its own accord, rotating around looking at each person in the party until it rests its gaze on Az Emberi. With a flash, it streaks forward slamming into his forehead. Az Emberi yelps in pain and is knocked to the ground from the force of it. He claws at the thing as it drills itself deeper into his head. He howls loudly in anguish. His face briefly looking more wolf-like than you have ever seen. His body convulses. His face is twisted in pain but the howling has stopped. He falls limp. The glowing glass-eye dims, now securely embedded in his forehead. The eye turns in its new socket, the star pupil looking around as if getting used to its new home. It blinks, but this too invokes a level of discomfort to watch, as the new "eyelid" is basically just forehead skin that stretches over it, leaving a bump that betrays its position. It shuts and everything goes quiet. Az Emberi seems unconscious.

From what Dirk and Hymir can tell, Az Emberi is not dying, however, attempting to wake him does not elicit a response.
Hymir: As far as taking it out, you have never seen this kind of thing happen before, and have no frame of reference whether or not it should be removed.

Fjolnir, still groggy from being awoken by pipes, and swatting an oversized meat mosquito off him, still sits, staring at the now unconscious 3 eyed dog-man.
Az Emberi wakes up into Fjolnir's shift before anyone else wakes up. He walks up next to Fjolnir and without looking at him. "You have bacon in your beard. I'm hungry. Do we have anymore bacon?" He looks out into the bushes his new third eye moving independantly of his two natural eyes. "Nevermind I got it." He casts thorn whip into the bushes and a 'squee' is heard. He pulls a small boar out of the bushes already dead. "I'll get thus started." He drags it to the fire pit and starts preparing to roast it.
While you were sleeping you dreamt of darkness. Nothingness. Pitch black as far as you could see with no landmarks to know if turning your head even did anything. After a long time of this panic inducing blackness, you hear a low pitched, gravelly voice. "I see you."
That's when you woke up.
Make a WIS Save.
Everyone wakes from their long rest feeling somehow more capable. (Once you're all satisfied with your level 4 increase I'll continue)

When you wake you think you get a faint whiff of urine, but the smell fades when the wind changes direction.

You have the option of going ENE to the valley or heading due East through the hilly terrain. It will even out for travel time but either path may have benefits or detriments...

I'd like to also set up a marching order. While you know where Wyvern Tor is, you will have to find the Orc Camp when you get close to it, which will require the leading party member to make perception or survival checks. (active search so no passive score unfortunately, Az. If you want I can put a default marching order on the party notes so I never have to ask again.)
