Nope, you're also in the subterranean level though. Also, just as a note the spell states "The spell can locate a specific object known to you, as long as you have seen it up close--within 30 feet--at least once. Alternatively, the spell can locate the nearest object of a particular kind, such as a certain kind of apparel, jewelry, furniture, tool, or weapon" -- You've technically never seen the hammer it was just loosely described to Talien by the smith.
You head through the underpass and back up into the library. Nothing has changed in the time you have last been through here. It is the same as you proceed through Ashardalon’s Shrine (dragon statue) and back into the Garden Galleries. The quickest way back is through the Laboratory where you found all the goblins making wine and patching armaments. You proceed to the room where you locked the goblins.. do you stop to let them out?
Grom's spell still hasn't picked up the hammer...
