"Not bad!", Skazic says. He and the witchdoctor head over to the sarcophagus and take a look at the ghoul king's severed head. "Not so tough now, are ya?" He kicks the sarcophagus and laughs.
"WHEN MY BODY REGENERATES YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET THIS!" shouts the head.
Treasure: Two-handed sword +1, and maybe other things hidden in the crypt.
"As good an idea as any," Skazic says, "how do you plan on destroying a literal tonne of carved marble? Just wail on it with your warhammers? Some kind of explosive magic? Should be fun either way!"
(Undead had disadvantage on attacks after Soar cast protection from good and evil, but they all missed anyway, so we're good!)
Soar looks down at the head, and starts a prayer to Kelemvor. "Lord of the Dead, in all your compassion, take this wayward soul to its eternal rest." She drops the torch next to the undead creature's head, making sure to get the hair alight. "The flame will cleanse the contamination, Gilliard, and speed you to your rest." She raises her warhammer high and brings it down swiftly onto the head, aiming for a Gallagher-style watermelon splat. If it helps to have radiant damage, she'll throw in some smite.
(Think you get advantage for prone/immobile targets: Attack: 20 Damage: 11 plus smite 13)
Assuming the head is put to rest, Soar agrees that the gold can go to Trollskull. She looks a bit sheepishly at the elf and golbin. "It's for a good cause."
"Fair enough, we didn't get a piece of the action as it were, and besides you've done us a favor clearing these restless spirits out. What do you say we let you go with the loot and you forget we're down here?"
“I think not.” Kiric drawls while using telepathy send Asmodai this message: “Now Asmodai, they’re distracted!” He then launches an Eldritch Blast the Elf. Attack: 16

Soar readies herself for yet another avoidable incident. She will move a bit closer to Kierro to try to support his efforts, but realizes that the fit may have hit the shan and readies her warhammer, still covered in barbarian king to defend herself. "No one needs to die down here. Deep breaths everyone."
Kiric reels back as if someone starting playing a horn in his ear, then started muttering to himself. “Uh huh... Ok... THAT? REALLY? Alright. The boss lady said to leave you alive. It’s important for several vital strands.”
"Yeah whatever human, take a cheap shot and then call the fight off. Come on Blekh, we're heading back up to beat some sense into that little traitor Hogor. You all had better be gone by the time I come looking, or else." With that, the elf and the goblin take their leave.
If things are really de-escalating, Soar goes and grabs the gold for the tavern's fund and the sword as well (if no one else has). She confirms that Gilliard's head has been smooshed and burned out of existence, and heads upstairs. She looks at Kiric and says, "things like that work better if we're all on the same page. I can't help you if I'm as surprised as they are. What were you thinking? Who's the boss lady and what does she say about us?"
Still prepared for a fight, she watches the elf and witch doctor head to the rest of the goblins, not trusting that the threat is gone. She does mention to Skazic that if she hears of them causing trouble with the community in the future, she knows who and where they are, and she'll come looking for them. She is hoping for the best, though.
Necromancer:
Soar's leading her companions to her favorite places in the City of the Dead, trying to imagine where a necromancer might be getting skeletons.
Skazic just replies, "I'll look forward to next time, Soar the Paladin." He clearly is itching for a rematch at some future date.
