If nothing, Heia says, "Perhaps we should wait until nightfall. Creatures of this ilk prefer the stars witness their deeds. I do not think the City watch should bother a Paladin of Kelemvor here (she nods to Soar)."

Soar's fine with waiting till nightfall (I really thought it was night-time already because of the light cantrip we were dealing with before!). She'll ask Heia, "so where are you from? What's your story?"
Once it's nightfall, Soar will try the initial strategy of sticking to just outside the light radius of the light cantrip (I actually forget who it was who cast it initially), while others sneak around in the darkness. She's trying to make it seem like she thinks she's hiding, just outside the light, but actually is the paladin bait for the necromancer.
She senses no necromancer (though divine sense only detects undead, fiends and celestials which the necromancer may not be), but detects six skeletons working. They are still unaware of your presence.
Soar tries to signal to the rest of the group that they've found their next targets, hoping that they understand gesticulations in the darkness. She mutters, "destroy skeletons noisily, piss off skeletonmaker, kill skeletonmaker."
She readies an attack for when everyone is in position and nods that they are ready. She looks at her javelin, and then at the barely-substantial skeleton frames, and hoists her warhammer again. If she can get a surprise attack off with others: Attack: 21 Damage: 8
Initiative for when needed: 14
First attack for first round: Attack: 19 Damage: 10
She'll target the biggest skeleton she can reach with her movement, trying to cover for the others.
Asmodai will watch the skeletons, and take his lead from Soar. Asmodai nods at Soar and moves to attack the same skeleton.
(OOC question for the DM: This is a bit controversial, but, if I were to attack a skeleton with the side of my rapier, instead of the actual sharpened blade. Would you consider that to be bludgeoning damage instead of the normal piercing damage? I've seen some DM's use something like that for "special" situations and because of creativity, however, I've also seen some DM's say "no, a rapier does piercing damage, and would not be able to do bludgeoning damage." Let me know.)
Attack with Advantage from "being one with the night": 18 | Damage: 7 | Sneak Attack: 4
Initiative for when needed: 21
If the first attack above was a surprise round, next attack on the same skeleton if it's not dead, if it is then the next closest one with an ally within 5 feet of it.

(My ruling is that punching with the hilt of your rapier is, effectively, and assuming it's a basket-hilt, a mace attack, so treat it as if it were a mace as far as damage goes; however, you don't get proficiency bonus to your attack because the weapon isn't designed to be swung like that.)
Soar runs up to the closest skeleton and shatters it at the ribcage with a hefty strike of her warhammer. The remaining skeletons drop what they're doing and turn to face her!
Initiative for the five remaining skeletons: 7 18 18 3 4
(EDIT: Soar's second attack.) Soar demolishes another skeleton with a strike to the skull!

Anyone else rolling 19 or higher may also act.
See my EDIT above. I will just make the attacks normally.
In a one-two strike, Asmodai precisely knocks off the head of one of the skeletons with his rapier, then breaks its spine at the waist; it isn't going to bother anyone anymore.
As this flurry of action happens, Soar looks around to see if she sees anyone or anything around them, using dark vision. She listens in between the pauses of the battle for other sounds.

The sun goes down; Asmodai is the darkness of night. Just outside of Kierro's light, Soar pretends to sneak.
An hour goes by.
Two hours.
Three.
You are starting to give up hope, when walking past the less fashionable portion of the cemetery where the poor are buried, you hear something.
The sound of digging, and clattering bones.
A literal skeleton crew is clawing at the earth, attempting to dig up old bodies for certainly no good purpose.
They haven't noticed you yet. What do you do?
Soar uses divine sense to pinpoint where there are skeletons in the darkness, and if she can sense the necromancer anywhere nearby...

Kierro Sacred-Flames a skeleton, knocking it back!
Two skeletons attack, one going after Soar (Attack: 18 Damage: 3), the other after Asmodai (Attack: 9 Damage: 4).
Dwaye smashes a skeleton's ribcage, shattering it to pieces!
Erik then nails a skeleton in the skull with his sling, killing it!
The final skeleton attacks Dwaye (Attack: 16 Damage: 5), before being put to rest by Heia.
(Combat over.)
Soar, meanwhile, has been keeping watch; if anything else is out there, she doesn't see it.
Heia will search for signs to determine what direction the skeletons came from: Survival: 23
If anything is determined, She will relay the infomation to the group.
Either way, Heia says to the group, "Your team is very efficient. I feel like I am in good company."
