Vanvalor positions himself in slight cover. Out stretching his hand towards a kenku, the slight small copper scales that line his hair line seem to ripple as a ball of acid flies from his palm towards the enemy.

[Reynard: I'll allow it, though more cinematically than stealthily, I hope taking the liberty is okay!]
Reynard, in a burst of speed, leaps down from the second floor balcony, hits the ground with a graceful roll and rises to his feet near the main warehouse door; he is ready to intercept any Kenku that tries to escape!
Meanwhile Vanvalor attempts to spray the nearest bird creature with acid; the Kenku recoils, and... (Dex Save: 21) It just barely avoids the splash of acid by jumping back!
The Kenku, sensing that their only escape route has been cut off and that they are soundly outnumbered, panic. "Halt, drop your weapons!" shouts one in imitation of a city guard, as he drops his bow and shortsword to the floor; the other Kenku that's still up follows suit, crowing a "please somebody help us!" in a scared woman's voice. (The other two Kenku are on the floor, one is bleeding out from a well-aimed arrow while the other is just knocked out.)
[Combat Ended; you may now post freely about what you want to do from here.]
With the Kenku neutralized, you are freely able to spread out into the main warehouse floor.
The Black Network's main business is recruiting, training, and equipping sellswords. Crates packed with weapons, rations, boots, black uniforms, and other gear fill the warehouse. The corpses of a dozen human men lie along the wall, some with snake tattoos on their arms or necks, others tattooed with a circular symbol with ten radiating spokes. None of them fit the description of Floon.
First though, you should decide what to do with your Kenku captives.
Kruk will put his bow back and grab his sword, putting the torch out and returning it to his pack. He will keep his sword drawn as moves to the kenku with an arrow sticking out of it. "So are we keeping this one alive? If so then one of you should do something about it."
With that said he will go to look through the weapons that are in the building look to see if any of them are worth taking to sell himself for coin.
The armor and weapons are mundane and of modest quality, chances are what you have is better; then there's the question of whether anyone would buy them from you if they knew that they were the property of the Zhentarim. You think you'd probably be able to find a buyer eventually but it might not be worth the hassle.
Kruk will grumble about this but will still grab a dagger before he goes to look at the pile of corpses. "Did you birds kill these humans or were you just here to swipe the weapons and anything of value from the corpses?"

"I did ask you a question, and I think it will go better for you if you answer it honestly. Did you kill all these people? How did they die, and why? Do you know where we could find Floon and, um.... Mr. Never Rememeber?" She turns to her companions, seeing if they can help her remember the name and also if they could tie up the kenku and stabilize the one who's bleeding out. "What was Floon's friend's name again? The noble he left the bar with. I can never remember noble names. They were probably here two days ago and don't seem to be among the corpses. Anyhow valiant bird foes, you've been defeated and you should cooperate. You don't seem to be part of this black snake network and are standing here amid a lot of dead members. What's going on?"
The two alert Kenku look at each other, and one responds with a deep voice in an orcish accent: "Xanathar sends its regards".
As if worried the other one gave the wrong impression as to how much they were personally responsible, the other Kenku tries to be helpful. In a thin, nasally voice it says "Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!" Then in a scratchy voice, "No time to loot the place, just get him to the boss."
Then he turn to the kenku; Of course we'll help you. Erik goes over and see what he can do for the kenku but he don't have a healing kit yet. Still he'd like to assist in healing them. After all if we recognize these human corpses as zhentarim agents then these kenku have done a good deed today if it was they who killed these zhents.
The Kenku points north, to a storage closet behind the stairs.
Five of the corpses have Zhentarim markings; the other seven have tattoos of a circle with ten radiating lines. Because they have all been dragged to the wall it is hard to tell exactly what went down but you surmise that this was another skirmish between the Zhents and the Xanathar Guild; given what one Kenku said you believe they also work for Xanathar.

Kruk is going to enter the other room that the kenku pointed to, hoping that maybe there will be gold or at the very least a sign of Floon. He will look around for anything of interest.
Reynard steps forward. “Reynard Ferrand at your service all. Are you looking for Floon Blagmaar? And Lord Neverember? They were in the Skewered Dragon earlier. A regular Three-Dragon-Ante spot.”
Reynard looks at the assembled adventures and their new captives. His eye catches the attractive half elf in chain mail and a war-hammer. “Evening milady,” he grins, bowing in courtly fashion. “Can I help?”
Getting entangled with the Zhents is the last thing of what Erik had expected of this day, err not to say any day...
"So are you of the Xanathar Guild and these Zhentarim agents at war? I have heard nothing good of the Zhents, that's for sure" Erik shakes his head at the toght of secret agents flooding all over the lands, causing trouble everywhere, excpecially in ancient times before the world changed.
Reynard is ready to back up Kruk and Deryus as they approach the closet. He’ll listen if anyone stops to explain more, especially if it’s the attractive half elf
”I don't actually know myself, and I was also wondering if you could clear it up. It sounds like you're looking for some ’Floon’ character, why?” Dwaye says with an inquisitive look on his face
Soar nods back at Reynard with a wink and a fluid bow, thanking him for his help.
"As for you, Mr. Think Wizard, I do believe I have explained what is going on, or at least, what we know. Thank you for helping. You haven't told us anything though, including your name."
She will help secure the kenku and be ready for anything that happens in the storage room.

Erik put the sling back in its pocket and walks down to the storage room. He study the human corpses, who killed them and who are they?
